Matador Meggings — Local services in Randolph Township

I discovered Matador Meggings after several years of running in a variety of men's and women's leggings. A friend of mine pointed out the Shark Tank episode introducing Matador, and I thought I'd give them a try.

I now have 2 pairs of Matadors (the red camo and abstract variants) and I absolutely LOVE them both (and will be buying more)! Obviously, the distinguishing feature of Matadors over other men's leggings is the "modesty pouch", which gives me the freedom to wear them without underwear (and without concerns about awkward looks from other people when my bits & pieces are showing in other leggings). I find the pouch both comfortable and functional, and it hides everything well without looking too gaudy.

Aside from that, the rest of the functionality is spot on as well, including the zippered pocket (which I find essential for securing my keys when I run), another drop side pocket (which fits my iPhone Pro perfectly), and a the drawstring (which is also essential to make sure they don't slip down). The back loop is a nice touch for carrying a sweat rag or a light windbreaker jacket.

And finally, the material seems to be of high quality, both feeling and looking great on me. I'm 5' 9" and about 160 lbs and the mediums fit spot on. I honestly would wear these all the time, but I don't feel like the world is ready for men to wear leggings for normal day to day activities. I have no concerns about wearing them when running, at the gym, exercising, etc...

The only minor quibbles I have are 1) drawstring could be improved so that it can't slide into the lining (possibly a bit thicker or with better ends) - the holes need some reinforcement too so that they don't rip, and 2) I wish they were just a tad bit more high-waisted... as someone who has a bit of a muffin-top belly from previous obesity issues, I have come to appreciate high-waisted leggings, and 3) more designs and color options, possibly some holiday-themed ones like other companies offer (Halloween, Christmas, etc).

Exceptional compression shorts that deliver on comfort, design, and quality!

They're extremely comfortable, and true to size in my experience. They don't ride up at the legs or sag down at the waist. You feel unrestricted and completely confident!

The pockets are perfectly designed. It's nice having a key and cards with you on a run. The shirt loop is a great feature.

Having compression shorts that accommodate a man's anatomy is amazing. With or without the modesty pad, having a crotch area with room instead of compressing and flattening is liberating!

The quality of the shorts is excellent. From the materials to the stitching, to the overall fit and finish. They look and feel very well made.

The customer service is also stellar. I exchanged an order and Valentine, the CEO and Designer himself responded with prompt, caring service.

The meggings fit well and the compression fit gives great support for endurance activities. The fit is also flattering, even for someone who carries a little extra weight! A special mention for the shorts, they are the best for distance running I’ve come across so far. I ran a marathon in them in January and use them for each long run I do now. I've also met other runners who wear and recommend the leggings and shorts at runs I've been to.

I have to brag about Valentine's dedication to supporting customers. He was very responsive, and fair, to a minor defect in one set of meggings, and has always responded within a business day of any question I've sent.
