If you are a fan of old-world Italian food (and who isn’t!) get yourself here ASAP! They have a deli counter to make real Italian sandwich favorites including my new favorite sandwich: artichoke parm! Holy cow what a comforting sandwich to have certainly any day, but on a cold, blustery day it’s especially sumptuous! They have cold and frozen food to take out. I bought the frozen ravioli to serve with my doctored-up sauce from home. My family sat up and took notice of this dish. Great Job, Anthony’s! Get yourself there ASAP. Dine in or take out. You can’t miss. Their roots run deep in bread baking. Take some home with you. None better! Update—-Get the 7 Grain Ciabatta, if you like multi-grain bread this is the best you will ever have. Below is Anthony artichoke Parm sandwich plus (my creation) Anthony raviolis with their DeValle tomatoes and grated cheese. I made sauce and pesto separately and used it on top of the ravioli. Fantastic!!! Father’s Day dinners are the last two photos.

After going through several reviews noticed that all of them have in common poor customer service. My family and I tried to dine in on a Sunday at around 320pm and we were told they were closed not taking orders. After I pointed out their hours of service we were allowed inside but did not feel very welcoming. It's always the same issue with all the reviews they close and stop service whenever they feel like it. Another thing to keep in mind is how complicated the ordering process is. I really wanted to try their pizza after noticing they have that amazing oven while I was picking up a catering order. Their subs are amazing and so is their bread. The pizza was not what I expected it really felt short lacking flavor and sauce. I even had to send the pizza back because they did not even slice it fully. Would not recommend this place for dine in to anyone very disappointed.

Came here a few weeks ago for sandwiches for my wife and I as I was recommended this place by numerous people at my new job. Food: The sandwiches we got were excellent. Unfortunately I do not have a picture, but I ordered a roast beef, mozz, hot pepper sandwich which was both thick and flavorful. Service: Everyone from the deli clerk to the checkout were super nice. They appear to be busy at the counter sometimes but there is someone always there to help. Aesthetic: the business is split into two parts, when you walk in you have a dine-in area on the left side with ample amount of seating and on the right is the deli and baked goods section. Clean place, I really like the flow.

This has become a restaurant I have started to come to regularly. I was really looking forward to eating here yesterday and today. Yesterday it was closed which is fine no complaint there.. so today I was really looking forward to eating my favorite dish here. After finally persuading my wife this would be the best place to eat I called in bit before 3:30pm to order takeout 30m before closing. Normally takes about 12m for them to make the dish when I ordered in the past.. But the lady said they stopped serving dinner and then said it was just because they are too busy and the chef didn't feel like making anymore food.. This is quite frustrating to hear a business that is open wouldn't take my order during business hours for an easy dish to make. It makes the customer feel undervalued like a number. If they were out of ingredients I would understand. However it was more of we dont feel like it we are going home soon attitude and pretending to act sorry about it on the phone. I'll still come back because I like the food but making each customer feel valued is also important. Part of this is the values the owner shows by example (no blame on the owner BTW I dont know or have met him/her), but the biggest part is how helpful or positive a person naturally is. I go to some places where the employees always have a good attitude and greet you and it makes me feel good before i walk in, when im there, and when i leave. It actually makes my day better. And then what happens is your have customers that become like walking billboards for you. It might cost a bit more to get a more desirable employee, but since word of mouth is one of the best types of marketing for a business, it's important to remember this and almost think of it like a great way to...

Very disappointed. I go to both locations I am only commenting on the Succasunna location. I went today with my family which included 3 adults and 2 children (8 and 2 1/2) I asked for a "child's portion" of ( pasta with butter and a pasta with vodka sauce) when we got the bill, I was shocked!!! They charged us $20 each for a child's portion. They wrote we ordered pasta alfredo sauce, which was wrong. So we thought was the mistake. They said No, that's how much they charge and they don't have option in the computer for pasta with butter (and claimed now they don't have children portions). We paid clearly but we will never ever return to this restaurant. To charge $40!!!! For two orders of children's pasta is outrageous. Not to mention we have to go the counter order our food ourselves and go find a table, its farrrrrr from any type of fine dining. I think the worst part about it they lied about the portions and they charged us full price as an adult. Who pays $20 for a little plate of pasta with butter for a 2 year old! On top of this I ordered a sandwich which was dry, I asked for some more balsamic glaze which was on the sandwich, the MEN behind the counter sent the young girl over to us to tell us that glaze was to expensive to give me anymore. I told her to go back and tell them I will pay for it. Poor girl comes back with a teaspoon of glaze I couldn't even get it out of the little cup. So not only do they rip you off they are cheap. I've only ordered take-out from the denville location they always seem to...

I was satisfied with my experience here, I got the chicken milanese sandwich and it was pretty good. The staff was nice, and everything was prepared very fast. The interesting thing about my sandwich is that the best parts of it were everything but the protein. The chicken was okay, but kind of bland however the other components made up for it. That was some of the best bread I have had on a sandwich in a long time (not sure what kind they used). The mozzarella and peppers on the sandwich were delicious and made the chicken a bit better. If I could redo it, I would have them just double up on the cheese and peppers for my sandwich instead of having the chicken. I was in a bit of a rush, but would come back and try some of the other meats. I noticed that when people were coming in, the staff knew some of them by name which means they have been coming in for a while. While the sandwich was not perfect, it made for a decent meal and I would recommend stopping by if you like sandwiches. They also have a nice selection of desserts as well; I did not get a chance to try any, but they did...
