Kohl's — Local services in Raritan Township

The Kohl's corporate website reads that they value their customers, and that their "number-one priority is to deliver impeccable service, 100% of the time." It also reads that they "expect Associates be knowledgeable, courteous, and available to answer all questions" I have been a Kohl's customer for over 10 years, and have spent thousands, if not more, on merchandise from Kohl's. I went to this store last night before closing, around 8:30pm and was sincerely disgusted by the attitude and service from both the cashier assistance and the store manager, Leigh. I will not be giving my business to this company any longer. A company as large as this corporation chooses store managers to make decisions at one of their locations based on their judgment to satisfy customers, and to leave them feeling satisfied with an overall positive experience. This store manager lacks the proper knowledge and training with customer service. I am shocked that a corporation this large does not have better standards upon hiring a shift manager to oversee employees...

Kohls is only good if you have multiple coupons. Kohls cash & a 30% off coupon. Then just sticking to one item that’s hopefully on sale. Kohls is the only outlet store I know of that uses the original sticker price of an item & then acts like they’re giving you a good deal because you have a 30% off coupon. I can go to Marshalls or TJ Max & see that same item 75% of the time priced at what it should be. Kohls is good for Amazon returns. The Kohls store in Flemington I will say the staff are helpful and friendly. It’s Kohls that gets the bad score as far as stars. The actual Kohls store itself in comparison to other Kohls is probably nicer than most others I’ve been in. Kohls just needs to drop their sticker prices on everything they carry. I've always found the stores to be convenient and having the right selections of what I need. Well stock shoe areas, clothing, accessories and Jewelry. The prices are extremely reasonable and if you catch them when there is a sale you can really do well. The trick with Kohl's is not to purchase everything that you need right away. They typically give you the Kohl's bucks that will get you 20% off your next purchase if you come within a week. Do that because that is on top of the sale price that you get the discount.
