I had a fitting scheduled today and the experience was very uncomfortable. To be very clear I am a woman in my 30's and I have always gone to lingerie boutiques for my bras, so I am no stranger to the boutique process. This is the first time I have ever left a shop with nothing to show for it. I let the fitter know that I was looking for comfortable bras suitable for office blouses and dresses, no lace or anything that would be thought of as a "sexy" bra. I also shared that I needed resizing due to a long running illness that had resulted in drastic weight-loss. She said that they did not have many options for me to try, and brought out a few that she thought would fit my criteria, but unfortunately none of them were comfortable to me. I asked for more options to try and she said "what's the point if you don't like lace" that's the majority of the styles they carry. Her interactions with me felt condescending as though she was trying to convince me of what I should like or want rather than listening to my needs. I'm sharing this review here because I chose this lingerie shop due to reviews describing positive interactions with the fitters and a comfortable setting is the most important thing to me. However I did not feel comfortable here. There was one bra that I was considering but I decided against it because of how uncomfortable I was. She did not say anything overtly rude to be clear, it's just the interaction felt off...

She wore it for two hours and it left raw skin where the bra was. I called the next day to stop the order, knowing that we could not return the bras that we had because of store policy, which is understandable. I wanted to stop the order that was 24 hours earlier and was told we could not It was a special order. There was no special order they just did not have her size. I was told only credit. There was no customer appreciation or even an understanding that she is paying for this. I was just told store policy for returned which I understood but not if I did I not get the bra. I thought they would refund for one and we could just keep the two bras which one she will never wear. Itās all about the money...

I booked a complimentary bra fitting easily online, so nice to have that option - no other high end department store has ever given me that service. I was lucky enough to be helped by the owner Angela, what a delight!! She was so kind and patient, listened to all of my needs (including complaining about every bra on the planet), did the fitting in the comfort of my own fitting room and was showered with lots of options to try on without ever having to step out of the room. I ended up leaving the store with not only new bras, but panties to match and the cutest PJ Salvage pajamas!
