Detour Gallery — Attraction in Red Bank

I discovered Detour this summer and was blown away by the scope of work, the environment and the kind staff. This place is first class all the way. A diverse collection of fine art, a multitude of styles and a hunger to make the guests that visit aware of the relationship between the collector and the work. What a fantastic place to visit. I have yet to be there for an opening of a featured artist but I'm anxious to visit when one is happening. This is a jewel that I'm sure Red Bank NJ is proud to have in it's midst. The staff was so informative and welcoming. Not at all like many galleries I've visited where staff grudgingly answers your questions and makes you feel like you're bothering them. Detour Gallery is an amazing exhibition and event space just off the beaten path in the heart of one of New Jersey’s best towns. They host exceptional art exhibits and house a tremendous variety of artworks to suit many collectors tastes and budgets. The gallery director is extremely knowledgeable and accommodating, truly an incredible place to visit it’s easy to schedule an appointment and there’s no obligation to buy. I strongly recommend you visit this amazing Art Gallery space. Not only houses great pieces of art work from many artist from many art forms and from different periods in time, but also vintage pieces you can’t see anywhere else.
