I recently attended Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding at The Vogel at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank, NJ, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, I was immersed in the joyous chaos of an Italian-American wedding, complete with all the humor and heartfelt moments you’d expect.
The interactive nature of the show made it feel like I was genuinely part of the celebration. The cast did a phenomenal job engaging the audience, making us laugh, dance, and even shed a tear or two. The storyline was both hilarious and touching, capturing the essence of family dynamics and wedding day antics.
The food was absolutely delicious! We were served a classic Italian meal featuring Caesar salad, penne vodka, and chicken parmesan, followed by an assortment of cookies and desserts. Everything was flavorful and served promptly, enhancing the overall experience.
A special shout-out to the bartender, who was both professional and efficient, ensuring that everyone had their favorite drinks without long waits. The venue itself, The Vogel, provided an intimate and comfortable setting that perfectly suited the interactive nature of the performance.
If you’re looking for a unique and entertaining night out, I highly recommend attending Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding. It’s a perfect blend of theater, dining, and celebration that will leave you smiling long after the...
Read moreReally nice venue for music and entertainment. Conveniently located near free and low-cost municipal parking in Red Bank, we were able to easily park in the nearby White Street lot (free on Sunday) and walk a couple of blocks to the show.
Staff were really polite and seated us in our seats near the stage for an amazing concert with Stanley Clarke. Sound was well-balanced, and the lighting show was exciting. We were in the middle of the first table next to the bar to the left of the stage. Views of the stage were unobstructed, and we were very close to the performers.
The selection of drinks at the bar were good, including mixed drinks ($13 and up), beer ($8), and soda ($4). They do not feature any cooked food, just chips and candy for snacking. If you want dinner, go before the show to one of the many restaurants in the area around the theater.
Getting in and out of Red Bank was easy, because it is a small venue. I will keep my eyes open for other performances here, because this was a great, intimate experience with...
Read moreDon't go if you plan to See and Hear a performer and purchase seats upstairs. My girlfriend and I attended a performance on Sunday 8/25/24 that we were looking forward to for months. The Vogel advertises seats upstairs at a table for four when in reality the view from the railing only allows for two people to see. I had to sit back with the 2nd person from the other couple seated staring at the lights in the cieling. Horrible, they mislead you and advertise tables with circles showing a setup for four. and sell you these seats knowing at lease two patrons will not be able to see. I goto shows to see and hear performers not stare at cieling lights. What a RiP Off!! On top of that the other couple is talking through the performance and your all jammed in there together. Don't waste your money. The performers setup made it worst becuase the entire horn section was setup stage left. Instead of center stage or at lease put them center in the back. The Vogel should be ashamed...
