My mom brought me into Kristen's shop one day very early on in my wedding planning and I was completely blown away by everything her store offers brides! The entire concept is brilliant-why not rent some wedding day items for your ceremony/reception rather than pay to purchase these things brand new which you will only use for that one day? You have enough to worry about while planning a wedding that having to a one-stop shop to get all of your day-of decor from is HUGE. Kristen was incredibly patient and fun to work with, and her creative touch was just what we needed! The options for things to rent or buy from the Local Line are limitless as she told me many times throughout the several months I worked with her. If I came across a cool photo on Pinterest or got an idea from another wedding, I simply sent it her way and she would find an artist to be able to make it for me! We rented our wedding welcome sign, a card/gifts sign, a card box, and all of our table numbers and they were all absolutely perfect. I got so many compliments on how everything came together, and I truly owe it all to Kristen! For our escort cards I wanted them to be done on driftwood pieces and Kristen was able to find an artist who was willing to create the escort cards of my dreams! I cannot tell you how many compliments we received on them- and I loved how many guests took them home as souvenirs! As if that wasn't enough, in the middle of my planning process I mentioned to Kristen how overwhelmed I was and asked if she had any recommendations for day-of coordinators. She actually ended up taking on that role herself, and we couldn't have been more grateful! She was able to set up all the rental pieces from her store perfectly and then did a unbelievable job throughout our entire reception. She was somehow always a step ahead of things and kept us on schedule as best as she could and had quick solutions when mishaps happened! As an earlier review noted, Kristen and her shop really felt like my secret weapon for our wedding and I could not recommend her enough. If you are planning a wedding anywhere near Monmouth County, the Local Line should definitely be on your...
Read moreKristen, Owner of the Local Line was an amazing resource for my Wedding year for everything from Bridesmaids gifts to Welcome Signs, Seating Charts and Table Numbers for my Bridal Shower and Wedding. If there is a detail you need she can accommodate and is more than happy to get creative. We specifically wanted to acknowledge how patient Kristen was with us during the editing process when choosing the fonts and layouts for our designs, and were so impressed by the quality of her work when we received the final product. For our Wedding Day itself she not only delivered quality but physically dropped off and picked up our rented items so we didn't have to transport ourselves. The rental option she offers for things like signs and mirrors is such a convenient and practical way to achieve your dream look without spending thousands of dollars on purchasing items that will never be used again. Kristen was a Bride herself this year and still took on our Wedding a week before her own and did it so seamlessly and with a smile on her face. I truly trust her and appreciated her as a vendor and would highly recommend for your next event! Photos by: Forever Photography...
Read moreWe went to The Local Line yesterday for a sea glass DIY class. It was such an awesome experience and was above and beyond my expectations!
The owners are so very welcoming and kind. They helped my 9 year old to design and create her unique one of a kind piece of sea glass art. They assisted patiently step by step and made us feel like family.
They are so artistic and guided us to bring our ideas to life. They had so many different varieties, shapes and sizes of aea glass sourced from local beaches. And if a “rare” color was needed like pink or blue they showed us how to color it. So much fun and I would recommend this experience to anyone who enjoys art and crafting.
Toward the end of the class my daughter exclaimed, “mama! I want to come back...
