Red Wing Cinema 8 — Local services in Red Wing

I recently came to Red Wing from NY for work. I was looking for something to do and decided to go see a movie. I walked in the door and the place was BUSY!! But the staff was very pleasant. The bathrooms had a nice clean smell AND they were very clean. The seat were decent, the prices for a movie was very reasonable, the concession stand $8 is priced right. I felt like I was right at home even though I was 1,500 miles from home. I highly recommend visiting this theater. The best part about this place, I got to meet the manager by happy accident. I was able to give him my feed back and he was absolutely happy to hear my feed back. As I will be in Red Wing for another few weeks and I plan on stopping in again because it was an absolute joy to go to a theater where the popcorn WAS ACTUALLY HOT and there was no after taste when I was done. I got there today to see Fast X at 4:20pm, and asked for working closed caption device so i could enjoy the movie and the device did not worked at all, i didn't get the access i needed, i didn't get the service that i needed and it was a wasted of almost $9 just to see a movie without closed caption device i did not enjoy watching because i did not know what was being said, what was going on, and so forth. it does not matter if the place is small or big, they should have more than 1 device and making sure they worked by testing them, keeping them updated and so forth, just so people with disabilities have full accesses to their needs. i will not go back...

Well the service wasnt bad but the theaters themselfs are horrible. Immediately as we entered our theater we were greeting with a heavy musty smell, think guys locker room after everyone has showered. A dehumidifier would do some justice. Not only that as we try to get comfortable in the gross smelling seats, we started to notice that the projector is not angled at the screen or is zoomed out too much so about 40% of the video is on the ceiling. 10/10 will not return and will be checking the website for a refund policy after this.
