We were up from Chicago visiting Red Wing for a bike ride. The place is close to where we stayed and we decided to stop in on our way to dinner. Great selection, great service, I had to tear myself away before blowing my food $ for the weekend. Make sure to check out the bins of 45's there are some real gems in there! The only reason the review is not five stars is I take issue with their record organization. Artists were filed by their first name and that makes my brain twitch a bit. I’m in the store at least once a week and always get something. Recently my in laws found some old film reals from 1969 and we don’t have a way to play them so brought them in and he transferred them to a DVD for my in laws. Such a great service to have in Red Wing. Also prices are very fair and you get to see what you are buying instead of hoping the seller is telling the truth online. While many local businesses do the right thing, Vyntage Vinyl ignores mask mandates and COVID protocols. The owner is well know for his anti-science/anti-masking views. This business continues to put their customers at risk, and state that they do what they/their customers ‘are most comfortable’ with.
