This is an update to my last visit I wanna leave negative stars so my daughter wanted to go back to this nail salon I was extremely hesitant but I needed a fill and she wanted hers done also so we go back this time a young lady greets us we tell her the services we want , sign in I immediately ask about the $100 special immediately I'm told my nails are considered long ok fine so I'm unable to get the special so oi then ask for a quote And I'm told for everything I wanted it would be $114 I agreed to the price here's where the b.s starts after we agreed on the price she takes my daughter and immediately states working on her nails I'm told my tech will be with me shortly only to find out she wad not even there about 15 min later a girl strolls in and has what is obviously her lunch she walks right pass me barely acknowledged me sits down and begins to eat her food about 10 more min later she finally looks up and asks me if I'd been helped I told her I was waiting in my tech to start not realizing she was my tech she then goes next door and I guess she was informed that she had a client waiting (finally after id waited almost 30 min she then tells me she was going to do my feet first and that she would have me soak (while she finished eating smh) I was annoyed but I got ready toho soak and as she was getting the water drawn I asked again because I knew she wasn't properly informed about the quote I was given long story short I told her again what I wanted and that the young lady had already auto's me the price of 114 for the services she then sat for a few minutes and said oh you were misquoted and then started to rub down all the things she wanted to charge me for which was way more than the quote when I stated that her misquote me was not my fault and good business practices would suggest the amount I was quoted be honored she claims she had to get permission from the owner to do so she left me soaking in the water for another 20 min I guess to call the owner idk to be honest because she never came back to give me any updatesat that point when she finally did find back to the side I was in due then went to the counter and began making a receipt to show me the breakdown all while never saying anything else to me at that point I was disgusted by one again the lack of professionalism and courtesy of my time I asked for a towel to dry my feet off and declined any services Tati I guess that's the owner you are a terrible business woman you employ unprofessional and unlicensed techs and none of you have any customer service skills I promise you this time ma'am I will not return ever WORST EXPERIENCE EVER I WILL GLADLY DO AS I DID THAT DAY AND GO TO BUCKHEAD NAIL SPA (ASIANS ) GREAT SERVICE FROM THEM AND NO HIDDEN AGENDA TO TAKE ALL MY COINS NVR AGAIN BLACK SERVICE PROFESSIONALS GET IT TOGETHER I EXPECT TO SEE THIS SALON CLOSING LOL EITHER BY STATE BOARD OR LACK OF BUSINESS YALL MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO PATRONIZE YALL RUN DOWN ESTABLISHMENT

Read moreI got to this salon at 10am. Porshay did a terrible job on my nails. My nails have never been so clumpy and bulky. Porshay spent an hour applying the acrylic to my nails then she spent an additional hour trying to file my nails down because she applied a ridiculous amount of acrylic. By 12:30pm I started to get a little antsy because my nails still looked extremely bulky and Porshay informed me that she didn't feel comfortable filing off anymore acrylic. I asked her if there was anyone else that could fix my nails. I told her that they did not look natural at all. Luckily Veronica stopped working on her client and came to my aid. I was very grateful for that but I had to go to work and I was sure that Veronica was not going to finish my nails in time. Veronica told me to go see the manager. I told the manager my nails don't look natural and she told me my nails were cute and she didn't see anything wrong with them. At that point I told the manager I'm not paying for this and I proceeded to walk out. Can you believe one of their staff members blocked the door and locked me in the shop so I could not leave !? Then they called the police on me! I felt like I was about to be robbed. I was not offered any remedies or discounts for the poor service I received. It's crazy because Veronica and Porshay were just talking about another lady who came back to their salon complaining about her nails being too thick. The staff knows this is an issue. I get that nail shops may experience many walkouts simply because nails are works of art and everybody may not value your work but when the customer tell you they are unsatisfied try to come up with a solution. It seemed like they didn't care if I was satisfied or not they just wanted their money. I gave in and paid them $84. VERY PRICEY and the "Manager" was about to charge me $99 until I asked her to break down the price for me. SHE TRIED TO CHARGE ME $10 FOR A COFFIN SHAPE THAT I ASKED FOR BUT NEVER RECEIVED. So it took me 2 and a half hours to get my nails done. Then when I couldn't stay anymore because I had to go to work I was forced to pay for nails that were the wrong shape and extremely bulky. I PAID $84 FOR NAILS THAT WERE THE WRONG SHAPE AND EXTREMELY BULKY. Does that sound right? We as people have to do better. Brush up on your customer service skills and if you know you have a technician that take 3 hours to finish nails WARN...
Read moreThey have several really dope nail artists but be prepared to spend 3 hours minimum in the shop. I’ve been there a total of 4 times and each and every time I spend average 4 hours getting serviced. I got here today at 3:40 pm. It’s now 6:30 and I’m just now being seen. When I tell you NEVER AGAIN. I mean NEVERRRRR! Driving to bumbletweeds GA then spending 4 hours in the shop. Please do better. I really wanna support black business but not at an extreme expense of my time, comfort, & money. Oh and stop discussing shop drama or issues with other customers in front of tons of other customers.
UPDATE 1: So they saw my review and decided to deny me service as I was in the shop. AFTER WAITING 2 HOURS!!! And proceeded to argue with me because of the review. Is taking constructive criticism that hard. If several different people are complaining about the exact same issue. Perhaps it’s your service and not the customer. SUPER GHETTO!
UPDATE 2: I think the owner’s response to my initial review serves as enough proof that she hasn’t quite grasped the concept of customer service. The way your “manager” responded to me writing a negative review of the salon was so insanely unprofessional and sad. What’s even worse is you seem to endorse her response. I’m genuinely sad that a black owned business functions this way.
But, nonetheless I hope you thrive and don’t continue to endorse your “manager’s” combative disrespectful behavior to customers. Please think logically. If MULTIPLE customers in one day had issues that escalated to 2 being kicked out of the salon and another having the police called on them, the salon must be doing something wrong in some way. And burning Sage is not the solution. Understanding a customer’s issue and coming up with a fair and reasonable solution is.
Lastly, if you think me spending $300-$400 a month for nails is “a few dollars”, I hope you develop the business IQ to see how quickly that adds up. And the kind of loss you take by losing several spending customers regularly. And more importantly how having a bad reputation and bad customer service impacts your profit margin and...
