The lady that takes and give out your orders was rude from the beginning. I ordered off of grubhub. Mind you I been goin to Doos seafood since 2018. I waited until they reopened because they had to remodel because the kitchen got burned up. This is the third time my order has been wrong since they reopened. I watched people come and go. The lady hadn’t been there no more than six months. She failed to realize that she had talked to me before playing all that ghetto music. That time my order was right. This time I told the lady my order was wrong and she told me to prove it and she said that anything outside of Doos website menus are not updated and to take it up with grub hub. She also stated that she treated another customer the same way she did me. She tried to make it about the price and it’s not about the price. Both my orders was missing food. Instead of her letting me prove to her exactly what I did, she didn’t want to see it. Check your food before you leave. I can’t imagine how many people be ordering from them just to not get what they ordered. She said that when you call in and order directly through them, the order is cheaper, but who knows that? That info isn’t on the site. She said grub hub fees are high. No grub hub wasn’t the issue it was them. All I wanted was my crab leg that I didn’t get. The food good but RED FLAG TREAD LIGHTLY AND TAKE A MAN WITH YOU BECAUSE HER WHOLE FAMILY WAS IN THE PLACE. I guess that sparked her ego to talk to me that way. There won’t be a next time. I pray they get closed down. The bathrooms...
Read moreI placed an order over the phone for a shrimp po boy and small fries. Con(s):They were a little unorganized when I arrived to pick up my order. One cashier waved me to her for assistance, while the other cashier was assisting someone. They were protected behind plexiglass; I was very uncomfortable with the non exiting 6 feet social distance at the register. Next, my information was LOUDLY requested while the STRANGER was near me with the other cashier and the growing line of strangers behind us. Just as I whispered my info, the other cashier loudly stated "That order mot ready". And this was after I gave them more time to prepare it. I was then waved away to wait "wait over there". But then It WAS ready because I was beckoned to a weird space between the line of people and a "counter". Lastly, I had to ask for all the condiments I ordered. It was was a little over priced ordering a la carte because I did not want the combo. PRO: The sandwich was prepared as I...
Read moreUpdate (March 7, 2017): Ok, so after a few more visits, I have this to say about Doo's, their shrimp fried rice is hit or miss, I'm actually starting to think the fried rice is frozen then reheated. A few times, my fried rice was salty, as if it had been seasoned again after being reheated. Also, don't expect the fried rice to be like your typical Asian fried rice. Their fried rice is a huge disappointment. Basically, if you want some decent shrimp fried rice, go somewhere else.
August 2016: Had the shrimp box on my first visit after reading the reviews. The fried shrimp was cooked to perfection and very flavorful. The egg roll that came with the shrimp fried rice was perfect, fresh! Awesome restaurant, so glad my wife and I found this place. I hate to even mention this because everything else was so good, but the only knock was my wife's whiting. Tasted slightly undercooked and little fishy. Other than that, I look forward to trying a few other things...
