Went there on 8/22 . Its not like tractor supply like some people I've heard talk about. Its not even like ace hardware. Hard to explain what it really is. Very basic inside, more clothing options than anything else. Walked around seeing all they had to offer and how its layed out. Some things were very very well priced even with the added grand opening sale going on. Very clean as well. Very well spaced out. I was impressed with whole floor plan .
It does look really nice inside and comfy, but not one employee said hi, greeted you, asked if you needed anything etc. Seen them walking around and i even purposely walked past a couple pretending like i was trying to find something and still no interaction with anyone or made eye contact. I dont like going into a store where I have to force to get help or spend more time needed trying to find help from an employee. There wasn't that many customers in there when we got there , so that wasn't the issue with employee/customer ratio.
The only attention you got was if you checked out at a register and they had to make a conversation with you.
It's felt like walking into Walmart like everyone hated their job and didnt want to do more than they were required to.
Management needs to have a conversation with its staff. Im a manager at another different type of store and if I was manager of this one, I would be ashamed of how its starting off. Im a people person and i always make sure people are interacted with at least 1 time without trying to make them feel crowded or pushy. But someone needs to be working your floor at some point checking on customers.
Hope you improve how the staff interacts with customers. I will be back again and see if its improved and will let store manager know if it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery nice place and cleaner than TSC I would say. Their prices are higher than TSC although. TSC offers more deals and more rewards. At TSC More tools and tons of items for real farmers. TSC is not cheap at all. Between those two stores I will definitely choose TSC for the variety of tons of products. I have checked similar items and TSC is a bit cheaper. Medicine and shots for dogs vets horses are cheaper at the Grange-co-op than TSC. Clothing at the Grange is too expensive. Feed and grain for horses and cows are way cheaper if you are buying at the Grange since they manufacture themselves at the Oregon plant. (Their own brand). Medford Oregon GRANGE is better than the other Grange I have visited. However I like the Grange for small items and friendly staff and very clean stores. Having said that I would say that you buck goes longer at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWas excited for grange co op coming to Redding and disappointed that they have a dog wash set up like a car wash. If you have a 10 lb dog cool. Not made for large dogs. Spent $20 plus a bottle of shampoo since the machine didnāt discharge enough. Ended up driving home to finish. I will continue with tractor supply for $9.99 and no time limit. Plus TS supplies all different types of shampoo depending on allergies. They also supply grooming supplies and a separate dryer outside of the the wash station. These are pets and takes time to scrub them and by that time you have to spend another $10. It would have cost $40 by the end. Hopefully they change this to compete with tractor supply. Save your money and go to TS off hilltop or pet was...
