Hobby Lobby: My Happy Place, My Creative Sanctuary, My "Josh, Josh, Come Over Here!" Paradise!** Hobby Lobby. Just hearing the name makes my heart do a little happy dance. It's not just a store; it's a wonderland, a treasure trove of creativity, and, quite frankly, my second home. Seriously, if I could set up a cot in the yarn aisle, I probably would. From the moment I walk through those doors, I'm enveloped in a world of color, texture, and endless possibilities. Let's talk about the sheer variety. Need fabric? They've got it ā miles and miles of it, in every conceivable pattern, color, and texture. Yarn? Oh, the yarn! Soft, fluffy, chunky, sparklyā¦it's a knitter's dream come true. Art supplies? Canvas, paints, brushes, easelsā¦everything you need to unleash your inner Picasso. And that's just the beginning. There's jewelry-making supplies, floral arrangements, home decor, seasonal itemsā¦the list goes on and on. It's like they took all my favorite hobbies and crammed them into one giant, glorious space. But it's not just the selection that makes Hobby Lobby so special; it's the inspiration. Wandering through the aisles is like taking a masterclass in creativity. Every display is a work of art in itself, showcasing the latest trends and inspiring new projects. I can spend hours just browsing, soaking up ideas and dreaming up my next masterpiece. And the feeling is just...it's like the store is calling out to me! "Josh, Josh, come over here! I've got tons of stuff!" I swear, the aisles are practically whispering my name, beckoning me to explore their hidden treasures. "Josh, look at this new line of paints! Josh, check out these adorable miniature succulents! Josh, you NEED this glitter!" And who am I to argue? The staff is amazing, too. They're always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about their products. They're not just employees; they're fellow crafters, eager to share their tips and tricks. I've gotten so many great ideas from chatting with them over the years. And let's not forget the sales! Hobby Lobby is famous for its 40% off coupon, which makes their already reasonable prices even more irresistible. It's like they're practically begging me to buy more supplies. And, well, I usually oblige. Hobby Lobby is more than just a store to me; it's a sanctuary. It's a place where I can escape the stresses of everyday life and immerse myself in my passions. It's a place where I can be creative, be inspired, and be myself. It's the perfect place for me. If you're looking for a place to unleash your inner artist, I urge you to visit Hobby Lobby. Just be prepared to spend hours browsing, because trust me, you won't want to leave. And don't be surprised if you hear the store calling your name, too. It's just trying to share its...
Read moreDon't have option for 0 stars. At the end of April I bought 4th of July items that weren't on sale. At check out I asked the cashier if there was price adjustment and was told yes "you have 90 days" "have your receipt". I made visit today with receipt in hand to receive price adjustment. Cashier told me you have to have items with you. HUH? I responded that is dumb I was not told that, that makes no sense. She then called the manager Cyndi - who then states you have 2 weeks for price adjustment and need items with you . I responded where does it say that? Cyndi responds "on-line" my response I'm not on line I'm standing in the store where is this information? This makes no sense what if the items were gifts? No response, but a blank look. "We are going to have to take this up with SR management. I was greeted by Dale. Looks at receipt and says this is the cashier that checked you out, do you remember her? Really you are a manager and ask such a senseless question? He asked twice so I finally said yea sure and she told me I had 90 days and no mention of needing items with me. His response "she ALWAYS Tells customers that" well not ALWAYS because she didn't tell me. I left store and then went back in to ask to have them look up item numbers so I could go home and get the items that are due price adjustment. Cyndi "all items for 4th of July have same code so we have no way of knowing what each item is". I went home looked on website and have yet to find specifics on price adjustment, or where the items need to be in hand. A lot disappointed in a Christian based company. Integrity is everything. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI will not shop here ever again. I bought a giraffe and the girl didn't wrap it well enough it broke. So I had to return it and returns can only be done in lane 1 and 2. 4 lanes are open. But only #1 is for returns so that's fine I'm number 2 in line and I have 2 hours before I have to get to work at DSW literally behind them. This customer is up there sitting there asking obnoxious questions going back and forth on what to out back and what to keep. The line gets really long. So other cashiers open which is great for those people not for returns. Then another employee walks up to the cashier and they start talking while the customer stands there holding up items comparing them trying to decide what to buy. All the while the manager sees the girls talking so I assume she must be there to help that cashier bag. I stop the manager an older blonde woman and tell her I now have stood here in line and she says that number 3 is open I asked if she could do my return there she said no only 1 and 2 then can that cashier open 2 and she said only trained cashiers can do returns so no So I commit to standing there. Everybody has left my line and moved on with their life. I'm still stuck behind this obnoxious woman who wanna ride customer but she finally finishes up and alas it's my turn. And to my complete and utter shock the girl that I thought was a bagger tells the original cashier to have a nice weekend and then asks me if she can help me. I was livid at this point now late for work. The manager knew I had a return and knew the other girl could have opened lane 2 for me really quick so I asked the manager why and she told me that cashier number 2 was taking over for number 1 she couldn't help you because she wasn't open yet. THATS WHY IM UPSET.
so I will never...
