Had I known what I know now I would have never did business with this company! We purchased a bunk beds last month and since then the company has been to my house 3 times, I'm currently waiting for the 4th time hopefully the bed will be complete this time. This is unacceptable, I called the Redlands store where we made our purchase and spoke with the manager last night who informed me he would call me back in 20 minutes after getting off the phone with customer service I'm still waiting on that call back! The first time they came with the bunk beds the foot boards were damaged so they took them back and said they'd be back in a week. When they came back the next week the guys came with headboards instead of footboards so they were unable to put it together, again. The third time they came back they came with absolutely nothing however these guys did put the bed together as much as they could. You'll see the photo attached as to what we were left with on the third visit. The fourth visit I pray we have a complete bed. We are very disappointed in the way they handled this, no discounts no apologies nothing. I would never recommend anyone to do business with bob's furniture. They couldn't even make it right or attempt to, truly sad.
Update December 7, 2020 we still don't have completed bunk beds. Now I've had a total of 5 visits with "wrong parts or no parts at all" They claim December 17th they will be here with a brand new bunk bed and take down the half of the one they have here and put up the new one we shall see if they do that at this point if it's not up by then they can just take the whole bunk bed and give me back my money. Bob's is unprofessional, they lack common courtesy, and I would never recommend any of my family or friends to go through this company. They have done nothing to fix the issue even though they did say that they would take $200 off of my bill They have not. I received my first bill and paid my first bill on a bed that I don't even have yet. Ridiculous! Update, again!! Update: I started out praising Bob's but that is not the case anymore. After buying a power reclining couch it was delivered Wednesday via white glove delivery (which I wasn't even asked about during the purchase at the Redlands CA store. It was just added on.) Disappointed to find out that one side of the couch was missing the connection cable. So that side doesn't work until cable arrives. Customer service says no problem we will ship the cable to you. Should be there in about 10 days. Then you can attach it or call to schedule a technician to come out and attach it. So we won't have a fully functional couch for who knows how long. Then my wife called the store and spoke to the manager. No problem he says. I have a cable you can come and pick up. Really? I paid for white glove delivery. Why can't you send someone out to bring the cable and install it today. It was before noon when your delivery crew found the cable was missing. I offer to pickup the cable at the store and install it myself if the white glove delivery fee is refunded. No says the store manager. After a message on messenger to Bob's they call me and tell me that my cable has been shipped and I can call to schedule installation after it arrives. I ask about compensation for my inconvenience. They tell me they will discuss that after everything is fixed because that is policy. Apparently they aren't concerned about unhappy customers putting out bad reviews. So customer service leaves a lot to be desired. In hindsight we should have refused delivery. Read moreReally enjoyed shopping for furniture at Bob's Discount Furniture. As you walk in, you are greeted by sales reps that are there to answer questions, but aren't so pushy that they won't leave you alone like other furniture stores we stopped at. This location also has an "outlet" portion of the store, that many other Bob's do not have according to the sales rep in this section. This area has deeply discounted miss matched or damaged furniture , some of which you can't even find an issue with. Went in to get a couch ended up buying a coffee table, couch, mattress and dining room table. Would suggest Bob's Discount Furniture to anyone trying to find good furniture for a good price. Oh an to top it off, they have free cookies, ice cream and coffee.
The only issue we had with this location was how long it took to pick up the furniture we bought. The items that were ready for us to pick up was the coffee table and mattress. We drove around to the back and let them know we were there to pick up. We went and sat in our car while we waited. We waited for about 25 minutes before I went back inside to see what was going on. Both the coffee table and mattress hadn't moved from the spot where we purchased them. I let them know and they get the mattress out but I still have to wait for the coffee table. When we showed up we were the first people waiting for our stuff, now there were 5 cars outside all waiting for their furniture. When they finally open the roll up doors and getting furniture to everyone, we were the absolute last people to get our furniture. We had to wait around while everyone, that showed up after us, had their car loaded before we got our furniture.
