Yesterday was mine and my other friends first time at this store, and seriously ive never gotten so mad at anybody how I did yesterday, me and my friends walked in they greeted us, and well unlike any other place we've been they always have testers for the makeup, so my friend picked up a lipstick she liked and opened it and since the lipstick was beat up and looked like a tester she glide it on her hand to swatch and my other friend decided to put it on her lips since it was so pretty and the worker comes and tells us " I wouldn't put that on my lips like that so many people do that and don't know what they have so you should take it off" she goes and brings my friend a tissue, and afterwards we continue too look around and noticed the lady was like watching us as if we were doing something bad , she later comes up to my friends and I again and starts telling me " we have very little testers and you guys been using products that are not testers, and so we had to throw away everything you guys touched right now and the lipsticks you guys put on" I was like hold up what products have we put on and lipsticks cause the only thing we've touched and tried on was the lipstick from the beginning and that's all, and then I was just like okay all I know is that we haven't put nothing on and then another worker come later and tells us the same thing and we told her again what we had told the other lady that worked there and she just walked away and minutes later the lady from the beginning was just standing there watching us the whole time, but before that when we walked in I seen some white girl (and no I'm not racists at all) had her hand full of lipstick swatches and seen the lady past by her like nothing so that's what made us think like doing that to the lipstick in the beginning was fine, and you know the only reason we swatched that lipstick in the beginning was because it was already beat up if it wouldn't of been we would of never even swatched it or anything, I just feel like there was some time is racism going on because both lady's told us things but yet when they seen the white girl they just looked at her and walked passed her. So mad and disappointed in my first visit to this store, I wish I could of told the lady to show me all the products she supposably threw away because we used them. Because I knew we didn't use nothing else besides the one that actually said...
Read moreTalk to SHANNON!!!!!! she is the best when it comes to skin care and customer service BAR NONE. I used to have horrible ance... really bad. I used to do all my shopping online because the girls there are either standing together gossiping or trying to avoid the customer, aka me A GUY. So one day I needed to get some cover up for work and for the first time ever was stopped by shannon. She asked me what I was trying to do with all my makeup... I said to cover up my acne. Well, she got everything from my hand and put it down and said, "how about instead of covering it with all this expensive stuff, let's fix it!" I hesitated but I said ok what the heck I'll give it a try since she was the ONLY girl ever to come up to me and actually help me. She hooked me up with a skin routine from Clinique and said "trust me in about two weeks you're not going to need all that cover up..."
Honey, when I say not only did she hook me up, she changed my life.
In LESS than two weeks my skin was 89% clearer and was the best I've ever seen it. In one month, you couldn't tell i ever even had acne in my life. In my 30 years I've never had clear skin but because of shannon I dont even have to wear makeup... only just for fun!!!! So when I went to see her I started to cry and hug her and tell her thank you because she literally changed my life! Not only was she in awe but she kept telling me how happy and proud she was and grateful that I came in to thank her. I'm crying right now thinking about it!!! Shes the real deal. I even called Ulta to compliment her as well as Clinique. I went out of my way because she went out of hers.
Till this day, every time I'm in the area shopping or when I go into the store I stop by and and always hug her... I couldn't even begin to tell you how much more confident and happy I am. There needs to be more women like her working there, because all those gossiping girls are for the birds.
THANK YOU...
Read moreIâve been getting my hair cut in the salon here for two years and never had an issue until yesterday. I used to have Sam cut my hair and she always did an amazing job. She stopped working here almost a year ago, I want to say. So I just started making appointments with the first stylist available based on my schedule.
I went in yesterday for an appointment I had booked a week ago. It was scheduled for 3pm with Morgan, so I got there ten minutes early. I wasnât greeted by anyone in the salon. Someone who worked the floor actually told the salon employees that I was there for my appointment. She then offered for me to take a seat and wait because Morgan was still with her client.
Morgan was still washing the clientâs hair when I got there and she then sat her down to blow dry her hair. I waited 30 minutes and was never once acknowledged by Morgan. I actually walked out after exactly 30 minutes of waiting. It was so rude that I wasnât acknowledged and at least told by Morgan that she was running late and it would be x minutes before she got to me. I wouldâve shopped to pass the time as I need new makeup. Not to mention, I was sitting on the other side of the divider that separates Morganâs station and the waiting area. She didnât speak a word to her client the entire 30 minutes I was sitting there. That and her not acknowledging me was enough for me to walk out and decide that I will never be back.
It was so inconvenient as I had to alter my entire schedule for my appointment. I also had to drive 20 minutes to the store. What a waste of my time. Although I love this Ulta, I wonât be back to even buy makeup here.
Update, 5/30/2019 I sent an email to the response from Ulta below but never...
