Do yourself a favor and buy your clothes from somewhere else, this place is full of crooks! I purchased a few items from the Tilly's website and found that the items did not fit, therefore the moat convenient way to return the items was to do it in my local store, but little did I know that was going to be a mistake. When I got up to the counter, the cashier let me know that all sales were final on "red tag" items and that she would only be able to give me store credit, not a refund to my original credit card. I let her know that I was never told doing the ordering process that the item was considered "final sale," or that the item would only be eligible for store credit return only. The girl proceeded to tell me that I indeed received a notification and that she would need to get a manager to authorize the return. I spoke with the manager a few seconds later and was told the same exact thing. I proceeded to tell her that the website never disclosed the return warning when I was going through the purchase process, but all I got was a comment back about how their website acts funny sometimes and may not always disclose the return warning. After that comment, the manager left and told the cashier that I was going to keep the items instead. I find it amazing that it's gotten to this point that stores are holding your money hostage, even when you bring back perfectly brand new merchandise with their tags...
Read moreTwice now, I have received poor customer service at the Tilly's in Redlands. Both times I was told I needed to find another person who could help me. The most recent time was when I was in the store on Aug. 4th 2016, when an employee named Josh actually asked me if I needed any help and when I told him I was interested in the shoes, he told me to go find another employee because he really couldn't leave his area. I understand being busy, but at other stores at least they find someone for you, so that they know you are taken care of. Why offer help at all? I was holding a few hundred dollars worth of clothing and decided to just leave it and walk out. Luckily I've been able to find the same brand of clothing on Amazon. Tilly's needs to train their employees better in customer service. My kids like the clothing, but I don't want to shop in a store that doesn't value...
