Sat here for over 20 minutes for an order pick up that was poorly executed. Never again; there was a young adult male, whom Iâm assuming was the manager based on his demeanor, who kept dodging eye contact with me every time I would look at the order pick up area. Literally He would call a number, I would look to see if my order magically popped up, and he would dodge. Lol. They helped multiple large parties before I finally decided to ask after patiently/kindly waiting close to 30 minutes. Thatâs just extremely awkward for the customer.
The cashier proceeded to tell me where the order pick up was, as if it wasnât ridiculously obvious. She then hands me a bag, without an order name on it. If by chance they had done their tasks right, I was to assume that the bag with no name on it was mine. I wonder how many order pick ups get messed up with this place routinely. I might be a little out of line for saying that because Iâm genuinely bugged right now, but common sense. There were four drinks, was I to dig through the bag to ensure it was my order? If there were multiple bags, should I have dug through all of those too just to be safe since nothing was labeled?
What an irritating experience.
On a side note which doesnât pertain to this business, I was picking up this order for my friends who work across the street đ. Letâs just say their breaks were well past over before I arrived with their drinks. I probably wouldnât have written this if it wasnât the case because I have too much patience with service jobs because Iâve been there/done that. But that really just had me beside myself. With that said, I am extremely disappointed with this store. I had been waited for this place to open for months and I just went two days ago. When we got in it wasn't packed, so we went straight to the register. We told the girl that it was our first time, then we asked her about the Strawberry Blended drink that has lychee and ice cream. We asked "How is it?" She said "oh it's good" and then proceeded to continue her conversation with her co-worker who also was just standing around. No "it's sweet" or "I recommend this because.." or "it tastes like..." . After we finished our transaction she was looking at the stamp cards but didn't offer us one. But I don't think we're gonna need one after that .And I have to admit that I was disappointed in seeing that their was only one size for their drinks. I was happy to see that they allow you to adjust the sweetness levels. And their drinks are 50¢-$1 overpriced. I was happily surprised at how good the drink was, but that was the only good thing about this whole experience.
UPDATE!!!!!: As some of you have known, I've been low-key keeping up with @sharetearedlands in the quality of their drinks. Now, when they first started (you can refer to my earlier post) the customer service was not good and the drinks were subpar, but to my surprise, THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST BOBA SPOTS IN REDLANDS. I ordered online at 5:20pm from nearby shopping. My order was confirmed for pick up at 5:37pm. I got there at 5:30pm because I had ordered a blended, frozen drink and I didnât want it to melt if it was ready earlier. I got a notice that my order was ready for pick up at 5:40pm. When I went to the pick-up counter, I was informed that it would be 5-10mins late as they âmay have promised me the wrong pick up time.â My drink was prepared and provided at 6:00pm.
