University Plaza Shopping Center — Local services in Redlands

My use of the services here extended only to shopping at IGA/Baja Ranch. The experience was sub par compared to all other available markets/supermarkets. The whole place needs renovation and remodeling to bring it into this decade. The produce is kept in a poorly lit area; one category of food ingredients can be repeatedly found in several different places, for example turmeric can be found in aisles 1, 3, and by the butcher (an arbitrary example, but true); and having this sort of set up doesn't make the prices any more affordable. It just leads to a very haphazard and arbitrary experience. The only consolation is that the employees are quite friendly, and as helpful as possible. Additionally, their stock and options are quite limited. So if you're in a bind and happen to find this place open, give it a shot. Though I wouldn't make this your first stop...

This location seems to have a lot more products to choose from in every department. I always check out tbe Automotive department and realized how limited the selection is in my area WAL-MART. Sporting Goods and Electronics were also twice the size it seemed! I found myself making the 15-20 min. trip to this location instead of the one located 5 min. away from my place. Its worth it if u have the time and dont mind the extra gas...

Cool little center. Pizza place, laundry mat, barber shop, diner, daycare, Mexican market and cvs. Not bad for a random little center. The diner is really good and the pre-made food at the market. Tastes authentic. Our favorite part is the pan dulce at the market....
