Michaels — Local services in Rehoboth Beach

Very disappointed and upset. I lost my little Coach card holder. I searched and hoped someone would find it and call. I had my license, insurance cards, and my credit card. When I realized I did not have it , I called and stop my credit card, received new insurance cards, and went to DMV for a new license. I was away and returned home to a voicemessage Michael's manager needed to speak with me and it was important. The message was left on my home phone voicemail. He told me they found my card holder with everything in it! I explained that I replaced everything and just would like my Coach card holder. My son had given it to me and it is about 10 years ago. I loved it because I had it so long and thought of my son. He mentioned he looked up my home #(bc I never use it) and went to go get my card holder. After a long time, he returned to our call and said it was in the Lost and Found all this time and someone just threw it away! I was devatasted. He was going to get to the bottom of this because Lost and Found is not supposed to be disguarded. He also mentioned that there were designer glasses were in the L&F. I called back a minute or two later. I explained that I would offer a reward and I don't care if someone took my items. I JUST want my holder. He said he would investigate. He was upset and was going to talk to ----- at the store. I have never heard back. I called Michaeil's Headquarters and they were very helpful and mentioned that items in L&F should not be thrown out. Store Policy. I was given a reference # and of course, have not received a call , letter, or anything. It is pretty disppointing ,as well as .upsetting to believe people would do the right thing....

Honestly, I really didn't spend more than five minutes in this store, but in general I absolutely love Michael's! There is a location close to where I live and whenever I need craft supplies, I go to Michael's. When I walked into this location, I stopped to look at a display. Once I thought about the display items that had caught my attention, I realized that I was in the wrong store! I turned to head for the door and an employee saw me and there was no hesitation in her willingness to help me! She was very polite and friendly and if I was going to shop at this location, I'm sure that she would have helped to make my visit successful and pleasant! I will say that I was impressed with the cleanliness of this location, as well as the appearance of organization! Michael's prices are usually competitive with other stores that carry the same type of merchandise, but their sale prices are AWESOME! And most locations accept competitor's coupons! If you're looking for craft supplies, baking supplies and products, frames, artist's items, seasonal or holiday decor or other items geared toward making something, then I would recommend that you start off at this store. If you start here you may not need to go...

Love this store...The staff are always so very friendly and helpful! I purchased an easel for my home and it was not the correct look I needed. So I put it aside and kinda forgot about it. I went to the store, to return the item, receipt in hand. The clerk, was unable to return the item, since my receipt had expired. They could only give store credit and the lowest sale price. I left frustraed gave it a couple of days. So today, I go back to the store and met John at customer service. I explained the situation and he said, let me see how far I can get-then we'll go from there. He then, called Karen the manager of the store and she made the exchange with no problem, giving me the option of store credit or credit my charge account. Since the receipt was expired, I thought it was only fair to take the store credit. Talk about CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! WHOHOO!!! This is one more reason, we LOVE shopping at this Michaels store, between their creative staff and the frame department is TOP NOTCH-all my frame work at home, is a product of this Michaels Store!
