Rehoboth Mall Isn't A Mall Rehoboth Mall was the 1st mall in or near Rehoboth Beach. It consisted (at that time) of @20 stores which are all gone except Peebles dept. store and Radio Shack. I'm not absolutely sure Radio Shack is still operating out of there. The last time we went looking for something in Radio Shack the sales person told us they didn't have any and we should go to Wal-Mart in the complex where we could buy the item for cheaper than Radio Shack sold it for. Wal-Mart is the only reason for us to go there which we did yesterday because I needed to pick up a RX. While we were there we also picked up other items which saved us some time and from time to time Wal-Mart might be out of an item and we will venture into Rite Aid, but I'm not an artsy craftsy person so I don't go to Michael's, I don't like Tuesday Mornings, rarely buy anything at Peebles dept store, and as far as I know the only other places that are now in Rehoboth Mall Is a gym that's pretty large and a US Postal facility that is HUGE. The public can't go in there it's just a place that sorts mail for the region. So, basically the only store that makes any money daily there...
Read moreThis is not a mall...it's a "dead mall". It's not that I dislike it, I go here several times a week to the Walmart, and Micheals(....there is a large gym here too lol, but I don't go there...my friends say it's nice. 😉 ) The actual mall part is abandoned stores, void of life. Peebles is a one star department store...don't bother unless you need department store make up or perfume. Rehoboth has Tanger Outletss over 3 miles of road for everything else-go there instead. That is why this mall is dead-every mall store has an outlet store instead. Now, you should be aware that some outlets do not have 100% first quality, or same quality merchandise in their inventory. If you want a real mall, go to Dover Mall, Salisbury Mall or make the 1 3/4 hour drive to...
Read moreThe main outside stores are fine Peebles, Tuesday Morning, Michaels, Rite Aid and a Walmart round it out .. The "mall" itself is an example of poorly thought out building mis-mosh.. There really is no defined entrance and no windows to the interior shops the radio shack there which most people do not even know exists will probably be gone in the near future due to lack of exposure. They really need to do major renovations to the mall and gut it open or tear down and rebuild a new mall space in the old existing space. I never go in there nothing I need that I can not find somewhere else that is more pleasant to walk into...
