I stayed at this location for three days. The hotel staff was very nice and friendly. The outdoor swimming pool was perfect for children and adults with plenty of space. There were numerous lounge chairs and beach chairs to tan on or to just relax around the pool. The indoor pool was very nice too and had a Jacuzzi nearby.
The room I stayed in had two beds that were very comfortable. My family was very happy with the room sizes here, very spacious for the price. The bathrooms were also very modern with wide showers. Plenty of parking is on site respectfully for the hotel size.
I highly recommend going to dinner at this location. The food was delicious, however, at times there were flies that were kind of annoying. The hotel tried to combat this with a table device that deterred flies from landing on food or coming in your immediate vicinity. It was kinda like a small table fan, not very intrusive, but a little odd. As mentioned before, the food was delicious. If you are a true Marylander, do not order the crabcake. The crabcake did have lump crab meat, however, is nothing like a Maryland crabcakes: nothing like Box Hill, nothing like G&M, nothing like Papas. I repeat if you are from Maryland do not order the crabcake.
The hotel hallways, main corridor, and parking lot was very clean minimal to no trash was observed . I also had the opportunity to meet the hotel manager, Mr. Joshua, he was very pleasant to talk to and answered any questions that we had front desk representative named Miss Nicole was also very helpful.
I had no complaints staying at this place and my family was very happy. The price is a little bit higher than the average hotels in the area, however, incredibly worth the value. The other people staying at this hotel was a diverse selection races/nationalities which was nice to see. I don’t know if I was lucky, but everyone seemed to exhibit class and was very respectful.
I did observe a convention hall on location that was near the restaurant. I did not go in and look at the convention hall interior, but I saw the main entrance and an appeared very large with numerous seating options..
In conclusion, the price to stay at this location, the food and the local surrounding areas with tons of activities to do made this a great option to stay with my family. To gain access to Rehoboth Beach main tourist area was only 15 to 20 minutes with dense traffic conditions.
I included photos and a few videos. If the hotel actually gets to see this review, just know this is paul from Maryland who you helped out ever so much to have a great time once...
Read moreThe hotel is beautiful. The rooms are clean, modern, spacious, and very family accommodating! The pool area is amazing very relaxing for friends, family, or an event gathering.
The location of the hotel is perfectly centered and surrounds an abundance of stores, food, and family activities. The beach is about 15 minutes away.
My only dislike was the lack of customer service from one particular employee! All the other staff were very welcoming, had excellent hospitality, accommodated all guest, and, had smiles on their face faces every day of our stay.
There was one day it was very busy in the restaurant. There was one server. I can’t remember her name. She had red hair and she serviced both inside and outside the best way she could. She did an amazing job!! She apologized for delays and kept us informed. It just was very unfortunate that there was a manager behind the bar with the flower shirt on that didn’t bother to help this server… the only thing the manager said was “she’ll be right with you”… instead of asking us if she could get us a glass of water or even ask what we were waiting for to help! I was amazed at the lack of concern from the manager. I’m not sure if the survey will allow me to continue therefore, I will write my full comment here.
There was another employee by the name of Diane. Diane showed no hospitality, no smiles, barely said good morning when we walk by the desk- leaving or entering the hotel she barely put her head up to recognize guests. She was very dried mannered and shouldn’t be in the hotel business if she’s not a people person. During our checkout, I felt like I was bothering her. That’s how uninterested she was that I needed help.
Norman was absolutely awesome. He smiled every time he approached us by the pool. He asked us if we needed anything. He refilled our waters. That’s the kind of service that belongs in the hotel business you want to feel welcomed you want to see smiles on the employees faces …you want people to say thanks for visiting with us. He was great our entire 4 days!
This was our first year at this hotel and we had an awesome time. We are contemplating booking for a short stay just because and a longer stay next summer for our...
Read moreTruly this hotel has all the potential to be a gem among Choice hotels and hotels in the area. Let's start with the staff - everyone from Ray to Josh to Curtis to Samantha we're all stellar guest relations ambassadors. It's clear they are all both proud of the hotel and committed to its success. Several times they went above and beyond to make our stay more enjoyable. The common spaces and restaurant are really exceptional - well designed, stylish, with lots of really special touches. Lots of greenery, beautiful light fixtures, fresh cut flowers. The convenience store was the best I've ever seen. At the bar, the cocktails were exceptional and the mixologists were very knowledgeable. The chef and kitchen put out a lovely menu with lots of standouts - that cheesecake was to die for. Definitely something for everyone. The pool and deck were a highlight. Poolside food and beverage service was great. The balconies made it feel resort-like and modern. Our room was exceptional: large, giant bathroom with soaking tub, wet bar, two balconies, giant living space and ample closets. Truly one of the very best rooms we've ever stayed in. The whole place feels airy and spacious, full of natural light and style.
The hotel has been open for 4 weeks and so it is still a work in progress. There were moments that grace was needed. The hot tub was hot, but never bubbled during our 5 day stay due to an electrical issue. The pool needed more cleaning than it received, and so there were times it had more than average debris floating around. The team had trouble keeping towels stocked and tables cleared for the well-made-use-of pool and deck. We lost water to our unit during a shower due to construction still happening in the building. The fire pits are not yet all installed. There were moments they felt understaffed.
My only real wishlist item would have been an area shuttle.
Overall I would highly recommend this hotel. It was truly an expectational place and a top notch team. Just bring a little patience and understanding as the team works to ensure it grows into its...
