Overall our experience was pretty good! The store was clean we got everything we needed and then some… then we got to the self checkout where a very rude, ignorant associate named Valerie ruined the whole occurrence! She had an attitude because I asked if a certain lane took cash or card and then pointed out that there was a dollar stuck in the money dispenser which must have upset her greatly because she started insulting us and being very short and even more ignorant to the point where another associate standing there said something about it… it’s not that hard to be nice or get a different job where you don’t have to talk to customers! I’ve always had great interactions with staff at this location until today and hope this is not a reoccurring issue

Edit 8/20/25

Ran into Walmart this morning 6:15 am get all my food I need for the kids for the week and some clothes that were on sale that I was very happy with! Get up to the self check out cash registers and I’m talking to the usual sweet older lady scanning everything just fine and go and pay and this man KENNY who was standing there the ENTIRE TIME watching me scan my items starts pulling things out of my bag scanning them again to see the prices so he can check his little scanner to make sure I scanned everything basically calling me a thief!!! it’s Bullshit that his co worker sat there talked to me and watched the entire time and repeatedly told him that I had rang everything up even told him where certain items were on the receipt! After he completely made an ass out of himself and me guess what?!?! Nothing was missing i had scanned everything!! I spend 50$ to 200$ every time I am in this store which is quite often and I’m never coming back here again there is no reason to try and embarrass people and pull their merchandise out of bags after your co worker told you everything was good!! Do your job and watch closely from the beginning but do not accuse people of...

I live in PA & vacation down in the Rehobeth-Cape Henlopen areas. If there are items that we need for camping, we purchase them in DE due to the lack of sales tax. Even if we had to return an item in PA, we have never encountered a problem. There was a line out front of the store, both days we shopped there during our vacation, due to Covid. Everyone wore a mask while in line outside, even though it’s not mandatory. There were about 25 people in line, in front of us, when we reached the line after parking. Though it was hot, it wasn’t too miserable, standing in the sun w masks on. I pulled mine to the side to take a few breaths every once in a while because I have asthma. I didn’t see the sign to put our masks on until we reached the door, otherwise, I may not have worn it! The bathrooms we nice/not disgusting. I didn’t like how the checkout was setup though. As you entered the store, you’re only choice is to enter customer service (or bathrooms), to the left or to continue straight until you reach almost the middle of the store! You are unable to turn right at all because of the shelves that have been put up, all selling beach equipment, I might add. I was slightly irritated by this, thus the 4 stars. Our shopping trip there was to buy an air mattress and hammock. Along the way, I also priced fishing rods. The pictures/prices are all from the second week of July 2020, in case anyone was wondering. There was hand sanitizer at the entrance of the store where the carts are kept and they spray the carts down before they are brought back into the store. I found out the hard way because I tried to return our cart and was chastised for attempting to return an unsanitary cart lol! I hope this helps someone. Happy and...

The Pet department was NOT STOCKED AT ALL. I came in earlier in the day, and the same pallet of products was still there 7 hours later, untouched while the shelves remained empty... Despicable. Too many employees playing on their cell phones. Yes their phones, I know the difference... I see the employees becoming the ones in charge. While checking out at a self-service register, it would not print a receipt for me. I notified the customer service representative who asked me ("well whats do you needs it fors a business or something?") My answer was no I need it so I won't get checked at the door and I may need to return something and make sure I am charged the correct amount to be sure I will not be overcharged on my credit card. I waited 27 minutes for him to return and he never did. I was forced to leave the store without a receipt. Corporate greed is leading to increases in prices that are beyond what is needed to afford a decent profit to the shareholders, coupled with extremely overpaid employees who seem to be wandering about the store aimlessly while a select chosen view works themselves to death. It is worth going to smaller grocery stores such as Food Lion, Acme, or other grocery stores due to the unpleasant atmosphere provided by mismanagement, low stock, high prices, and terrible Employee Service. When the employees start thinking that they are more important than the customer and cannot be replaced, that's when they start giving you the I am not helping attitude. Walmart has long outlasted its usefulness. The CLOWNS ARE NOW...

This Walmart in Rehoboth is smaller compared to other nearby locations in Georgetown or Milford. While it can be a good stop for grabbing basic essentials quickly, don’t expect much in terms of selection. The store is often messy and poorly arranged, making it hard to navigate. Sadly, the staff here are not very friendly or considerate, and some customers are just as rude, which really detracts from the shopping experience. The bathrooms are also dirty, which is a big disappointment. On the positive side, the store is open every day from 6 AM until 11 PM, and it does have a pharmacy. However, if you’re looking for a more pleasant experience or a larger variety of items, I’d recommend checking out the stores in Georgetown or Milford instead.
