UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE DO BUSINESS HERE. THEY ACT AS IF YOU ARE A PAIN IN THERE ASS FOR ASKING A QUESTION. THE SO CALLED "PRO" SPENT MORE TIME TRYING TO INTIMIDATE ME BRAGGING ABOUT BEING A MARTIAL ARTS FIGHTER THEN ANSWERING QUESTIONS ABOUT WHAT BOWLING BALL WOULD BE BEST. HE COULDN'T ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT ANY OF THE PRODUCT (BOWLING BALLS) . THE ONLY ANSWER I GOT WAS IF "I" ASKED ABOUT A PARTICULAR BALL, AND THEN I GOT "THAT'S A GOOD ONE" - THEY WERE ALL "GOOD ONES". GET THIS - "THE PRO" SPENT 15 MINUTES MEASURING MY HAND, AND THEN LEFT THE DIAGRAM FOR AN ASSISTANT TO DRILL IT AT A LATER TIME; AND IT WAS DRILLED INCORRECTLY. THAT WAS THE FIRST EXCUSE FOR IT BEING WRONG, THEN HE DRILLED ANOTHER BALL INCORRECTLY. HE DOES NOT HAVE A PROFESSIONAL SIZING BALL (LIKE EVERY OTHER PRO SHOP IN THE COUNTRY HAS) AND EVADENTALY CAN'T READ A MEASURING TAPE EITHER. BETWEEN THE POOR SERVICE, LACK OF KNOWLEDGE, AND INABILITY TO CORRECTLY FIT YOUR HAND TO A BALL, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL FOR ANYTHING. SIDE NOTE: THE BOWLING ALLEY PINS ARE ATTACHED TO STRINGS, AND DON'T HAVE A NATURAL PIN ACTION!! NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I SEEN...
Read moreIt was a cool place to take the kids on a very hot smokey day. This alley is pretty old and dated. There are not a lot of bowling balls to pick from. Seating is very uncomfortable hardwood park benches. The lane ball retrieve kept malfunctioning, causing our hour to be significantly less than an hour. We signed up for the kids bowl free. For 4 kids and texts adults to bowl for an hour it came to $47. Not free, but still not bad. They charged for shoe rental for the kids and an hour of bowl and shoe rental for adults. The workers were very nice and helpful. Our paid lane malfunctioned three times keeping our ball. The first time it was a quick fix. the other two took much longer. I think it would have been a nice gesture to add on 10 or 15 minutes to make up for it. All in all an ok day. I'd rather pay and go to Coconut bowl. At least it's clean and up to date. The snack area was really expensive for snack shack burgers and fries type food. The arcade was outdated as well and not very fun. Although it was cheap to play. Not my favorite place. Would not be my...
Read moreBest bowling alley in Reno considering there is about only two other options (GSR, Coconut Bowl).
I like how it is a locally owned alley and not ran by any big company, the price per hour isn't too bad coming out to $22 if you bring your own bowling shoes.
You should always call and check if there is a league going on before going since they always have a multiple leagues a day which can be annoying if you are just wanting to bowl for fun.
Lane condition is usually good since they oil it everyday it seems, the ball return will give your ball some nicks which sucks if you are using any new ball.
Staff is very friendly and will fix any issues with the lanes immediately and will even add on a few minutes to make up for any lost time.
Pro shop is nice and the guys that work their are helpful with any questions related to you get a bowling and how you...
