Friendly service! And the buns are handmade on site! The woman at the counter was rolling them right there (plus more are made in back). Limited selection – I’d really like to see a chive bun, almost everything is pork – but this is the first Boba I’ve had in Reno that I liked of the three I’ve tried. FYI, it’s old-school in no oat, soy almond, coconut, etc. milk selections, just real milk, but the oolong milk tea I tried was strong and good. Communication was easy, and she accommodated my request for no sweetener. The moon cakes looked tempting, but I resisted. The vibe was a little quiet when I was in on a Saturday late afternoon, but the temperature was perfect and there’s no obnoxious television on. Cute, clean, and meticulous – obviously someone is making some effort. it’s a quiet enough place that you could take an older relative, and they could still hear you. I was awfully impressed with the fresh hot handmade shrimp har gow steamed to order- better than anything I’ve had lately in the Bay Area, and no MSG if you skip the soy sauce, so that means they’re not cheating on the flavor, it’s for real. Want to overpay for mediocre food? This is the place for you. One of the worst eateries I have been to. The menu is on the wall with pictures but no prices, and after ordering I could see why. The food was terrible. One of the items didn't look anything like the picture either. Given the price paid I would at least expect larger portions but that was not the case either. We really enjoyed the food here and the service was so thoughtful and attentive. Delicious buns with perfect texture, especially the yummy dessert cream buns . My daughter is picky about boba and really enjoyed her jasmine w lychee. The rice noodle roll was great as were the shrimp and chives. Har gow was also nice.
