I got an offer worth 378 for a Dell XPS 9550 (2016) model. I read other reviews where people mentioned that they will find a random defect and low ball you.
I though I was smart and made a video of everything working and no scratches or damage to my machine (it is basically brand new) but I wasn't smart enough!
I got an email saying my battery was bad and was at 66% Capacity and they would only give me 212 dollars instead of the promised 378.
This makes no sense because EVEN IF they are right (they are not, the latpop could easily play a full 4K movie and then some without draining) and the battery has lost charging capacity over time, shouldn't that normal part of the assessment? They know this is a 5 year old laptop (which is why they make you pick a model number). There is no way it would perform like-new. There will be degradation over time! If the Latop worked as it it is still brand new, why would I sell it to a company that buys "broken" laptops (while my laptop was farrrrr from broken)?
Selling it on Ebay would have fetched me 400-500 with ease.
Please avoid this service! I took my chances, I learnt my lesson. I will...
Read moreAt first I was unsure about doing business with SellBroke.com - there are so many scams on the Internet... So I read more about them and of course looked at their reviews before doing business with them.
I can now leave a review as an actual customer of theirs and I am very happy with how our transaction went. They were quick in communicating throughout the process, they sent me a prepaid shipping label, and the check showed up (and cleared) as promised.
This was a quick, easy, and painless transaction with a company that communicates very well.
I would definitely recommend SellBroke.com and I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again in the future.
I hope this review is helpful for anyone who is looking to sell broken electronics but is unsure of who to trust.

Read moreI came across this business through a Google advertisement and I had serious doubts about sending them my laptop, thinking it might be a scam. Their website had a rough looking user interface and made me feel even more doubtful. However, I read through a bunch of reviews and decided to take the risk. I'm really glad I did! I sold my previous laptop to them in great condition and got almost 200 dollars in return. I had some issues because I didnt send them my charger as well, but that was a miscommunication on both ends (more especially mine). These guys are trustworthy and enjoyable to do business with! One suggestion is that they explicitly state during checkout that they want both the laptop AND the charger, but thats it! Will do business with again...
