Lyndale Station — Local services in Richfield

The area's stores and restaurants are certainly worth trying, although I highly recommend avoiding the area come nightfall. I live nearby and am a manager at a fairly frequently visited store in the area for going on two years. In that time, only after dark, I've been assaulted twice on the job, the store robbed(the day before even Thanksgiving. Sad.), witnessed identity theft and illegal money laundering countless times, and endless accounts of brawls and harassment. The area is exactly like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde with day and night. Just tonight, 08/11/2021, there was an unknown male subject lying facedown in front of a major store for a considerable amount of time who then bolted awake and ran like the wind away after numerous patrons attempted to render aide. I found Von Hanson's in Apple Valley over 30 years ago and it was the only place if consider buying fresh meat. I was never disappointed with the quality of the meat and the amazing service I received. After moving to the city I needed to find a more convenient place and switched to Fresh Thyme market where was of equal quality. Recently I moved to Richfield to care for my elderly mother and was within blocks of a Von Hanson's so I figured I'd switch back to an old friend. Unfortunately the service is no longer what it was when they had only a couple locations and honestly the 2 times I tried meat there recently it was terrible and I threw some out which is not lime me to waste anything.
