Ordered on DoorDash and they wasted my time waiting for 2 hours! The first dasher told me my food was taking a long time and so he cancelled and unassigned himself. Then the second dasher also was waiting there for a long time. I decided to just call the store to see what’s wrong with my order. The person at the store who answered the phone said “The dasher cancelled.” Which was not the issue of this order at all. It was the restaurant taking forever on my order. I contacted DoorDash support for help because the shop was saying it was the dasher when it was not anything to do with the dasher. Because we were still waiting for our food and we now have a new dasher assigned also waiting there right now. Very confused on why they took so long with our food. And blaming it on Dasher. After contacting DoorDash support. We then saw a notification that said “Your order was canceled, we'll help you find a replacement Unfortunately, your order from Firehouse Subs was cancelled because some items in your order were unavailable. You can get credit that can be used immediately, otherwise you'll get a refund”. So clearly, it was the firehouse subs that did not have the “items” and they cancelled it themselves. Without even letting us know and then for them to say it was dasher. Like be so serious. Wasted our time waiting two hours and it was on their end that they the restaurant cancel my order, it was not dashers fault. Very disappointing that they were not upfront about it and just told us straight up. They made it seemed like it was the delivery men’s fault. And they made it seemed like because the first dasher cancelled from picking it up… that our whole order got cancelled too!?! Which is not how DoorDash works! Called the store again and they now said it was because the order got stolen… they made a lot of excuses!!! First excuse they was saying the dasher cancelled so my whole order is cancelled!? No it’s not cancelled! Just because the dasher had unassigned. Because another 2nd dasher is assigned! Second time calling the store, they said it got stolen ?!!! Very frustrating and horrible customer service and bad first experience ordering there. This is the first and last time...
Read moreMy husband and I decide to eat at this place off of hearing how good it was from other people we knew. We, arrive at the location and was greeted by two young men, and ordered our meals for dine in. We, received our meals, they looked delicious, and my husband took the first bite of his sub. He automatically spit it out really fast. I asked him what was wrong. The sub sandwich was "ice cold" (meaning the meat was taken out of the refrigerator and never cooked!!)the sandwiches we ordered the meat needed to be cooked before putting on your sandwich (Ex: Philly steak meat). I checked my sandwich also; my sandwich was "ice cold" as well. We, brought the food back up to the counter, and mention to one of the young men that the food was "ice cold". The other staff was laughing, and the other was apologizing, and offered to remake our meal. We, agreed to have it remade, and took our order to go. Read moreOrdered a build your own, mac and cheese, and brownie. Got just the sandwich and it was wrong. I ate it, not wanting to make a scene, but the rest of my order was not there still. Asked about the mac n cheese, and they looked at me like I had three heads. Then went back to what they were doing. Asked again about it and they yelled "we're working on your mac n cheese!". They hadnt even started! When I finally got it, I asked about the brownie. Again, looked at me like I had 3 heads. I'm just trying to get back to work cuz my break is up. He goes to the other side of the store where the brownies are, takes one and just holds it up. I go all the way down, grab it, and leave. Worst customer service I've ever had. Attitude, no communication, wrong orders, long time, etc. I used to love going to this place on breaks, but I can't depend on them to get my my sandwich quickly and correctly. I'm never going here...
