Caribou Coffee — Restaurant in Richfield

SLOW SLOW and SLOWER. Not only that, the General Manager was working the register today and was so rude that it made me about explode. I asked for my normal Med Light roast in a large cup. I've been purchasing it this was for two and a half years. He asked, "Room for cream?" I said yes, that why I wanted a med in a large cup. He just looked at me and said, "If you're going to fill it with cream, I'm charging you for a large." What the hell.

This was the 3rd and final try for this location. The first time I went in, it took me 12 min. to get a coffee. They rang it up, then it went over to another person to make, no one ever made it. But the 6 people behind the counter sure had plenty of time to talk to one another. The next time, I ordered coffee and a bagel. I got the bagel, not the way I ordered it, and again, had to ask for my coffee.

I certainly don't know how this location is going to work. People don't have time to wait and keep waiting for a simple cup of coffee and to have a general manager treat his customers that he does.

It's a shame, it's a great concept, "Caribou and Einstein," but you have to know how to run it, and at this location, THEY DON'T HAVE A CLUE..

I'll continue to go to my favorite Einstein Bros. Bagels at W 78th Street, and when I want Caribou coffee, I'll go to my other favorite Caribou location on York Ave in Edina.

I bring my dog to this drive thru almost weekly since I moved to the area 9 months ago. I get my coffee and I always ask for a tiny cup of whipped cream for her. It’s always been a great experience, they love my dog and we love coming here. This morning I asked for her cup per usual and when I got to the window- a girl I’ve never seen here before told me they won’t make a little cup of whipped cream for her and that they only do that at their “single brand locations”. I told her that we come here all the time and have never been told that before. She said ohhh.... I know this sounds stupid but coming here for my treat and her treat ( she definitely knows she gets whipped cream here) is a part of our weekly ritual. The doggie bagel that they DO offer always gives her very bad diarrhea so we don’t accept them. I am very disappointed (as is she) and will likely stop going to this location and go elsewhere where they are more dog friendly like they usually are. I have NEVER had a caribou decline me whipped cream for my dog EVER. I don’t care if you charge me $.50 cents for the damn thing- don’t refuse me a small cup of whipped cream for my dog. Worst tasting coffee I have ever had - worst ordering experience- My husband ordered a Match tea latte with vanilla- the clerk said, “so you have 3 choices... and proceeds to detail 3 drinks that are not of interest so he says, “No thank you, just the iced matcha tea latte with vanilla for me and a large hot vanilla latte with whip and only 1 shot of expresso.” She says, so an iced matcha tea latte and an iced mocha vanilla latte with an extra shot of expresso.” So I say, “No the latte is hot with only a single shot of ...” she interrupted me and said, “okay I got it” so we go to the window to pick up - I say to the lady at the window A so does this have Only 1 shot of expresso?” She says, “As far as I know.” His Matcha has no vanilla- Mine coffee has so much expresso I can still taste it hours later from one sip. I park the truck and go inside to have it remade - they charged $2 for an extra shot of expresso when I wanted only 1 of 3 that usually is in the cup - The remake wasn’t great I drank 1/2 and tossed it.
