Michaels — Local services in Richland Township

I was in this Quakertown store a few days ago as I have been multiple times since the pandemic, I do not wear a mask and haven't since the start, I have my reasons that's all that's important. I entered the store and was looking at some items in an aisle when an employee (I believe her name was Amber I could be wrong) she rudely says " you can't be in this store without a mask" I politely respond," I am exempt, Thank you". To which she rolls her eyes, huffs loudly and then proceeds to stay within the same aisle as me, babysitting I suppose. No other employee here was anything other then warm, friendly and accommodating, the cashiers were very friendly and we had a great little conversation. I have been in countless stores over the last 6 months (including 2 other Michaels stores )and not one person has ever said anything to me, not customer nor employee, nobody. This young lady needs to respect that no matter what her feeling may be on the mask situation, there are people with reasons they can't or don't want to wear one. I respect that every store has their policy on this and had it been theirs I would've gladly left. I find that local stores need the business right now and that's why I am shopping locally, I am hopeful that this might help you Amber on your next encounter with someone not wearing a mask, this is still America and we still have the choice to make...

My wife and I went into the store tonight (3/28/23) around 8pm to buy two 48x60 canvases. When we were standing there just talking to make sure that size was what we were looking for an employee came over and said, "you guys just missed the huge sale by one day. They were 70% off." Not something I feel as though you should say to someone, but we asked if we could get that sale since he mentioned no one has looked at canvases in days and we missed it by a day. He said no, so we followed that up with are there any other sales or coupons currently available that we could use and he said no. After all of that he then proceeded to say something along the lines of, "oh yeah it was a great sale I got one of these 48x60 canvas for basically nothing." That did not sit well with us as we were really looking forward to making something for our new home we just moved into. Instead of getting them we are decided to go to a different store or...

Twice in the past month I have tried to purchase an item online that was shown as in stock at the store and only after I place the order does the store cancel my order and tell me the item is actually not in stock. This store apparently makes a habit of advertising items as in stock that are not actually in stock. This is an update to this review. On 5/30/25 I placed an order on this company's website for an item that was listed as in stock. The next day after I place the order this company canceled my order and said that the item was unavailable. This is the third time that they have advertised an item as available and then when I order it claim it is unavailable. They continue to advertise unavailable products for sale. I am not sure what their reason for...
