The service is fine, at least for me it was. That is not the issue. The lack of food, both in the variety and the amount, is the real problem. The crab legs, they did not put any out. I was there for an hour, none were put out, even after I asked, still none. I wish there was another alternative buffet in the area. The bread they have a lot of, I am guessing because it is cheap, and the ice cream they had plenty of, although only 8 types. The deserts there were a lot, no complaint with that, but the main food, the pork was very salty, and there was only a small amount. No Turkey, which is crazy, no Ham, no Roast Beef. Turkey needs to be there every day, and the sides to go with it, like mashed potatoes, so at least you can have a decent main course. The chicken wings, even those were in short supply. They need to do some changes. Raise the price, make it so that the Crab Legs are extra and you order them when you sit down, something like that, but the way it is, I won't go back. Just too expensive for too little.
Update 06-01-18 still they only put out about 6 crab legs every 30 minutes and I understand it's because they are expensive
What I strongly suggest the management does and other Asian buffet's have done this is to offer crab legs by the pound as an add-on at market price
In other buffets where they have done this I have ordered a pound or two pounds and even though it's expensive I was very happy that I was able to do this and also to have lobster steamed that you can add on would be an excellent thing and Little Nick steamed clams by the Dozen that you can add on would also be a great addition
I know there are people who are budget conscious that won't spend the extra money but there are just as many people who will spend the extra money and now that the West End has switched their supplier of crab legs they are not edible they are horrible and I am looking for a nice restaurant that serves steam crab legs and steamed clams and steamed lobster and price is not an issue quality is
Please give it a try and advertise that you're going to have steamed crab legs that you can purchase by the pound put it in one of the little sale circulars and just try it for a month and see how it goes I think you'll find you'll get a lot more upscale people coming to your restaurant specifically to purchase...
Read moreI will never go here again. I took my two youngest children there for lunch today. It was their first time at a chinese buffet and they were excited. Our food wasn't good at all (the dumplings weren't even warm, they were cold), there weren't many choices, but it was tolerable. My kids were having fun and don't really know the difference. Then our bill came. I was charged $6 for my 2 year old daughter's meal, which included 3 pieces of sweet and sour chicken and a small scoop of canned pinapple. My son ate two pieces of food off his plate so I asked the waitress if I'd be able to take his food home and they gave me a container. When it was time to leave, I handed the bill to the woman at the register ( $12, $9, and $6 after rounding up to the nearest dollar) and she proceeded to weigh my sons to go container that the waitress gave us. We were charged $9 for his plate, then another $6 something according to the weight of his leftovers. That's over $15 for 5 sweet and sour chicken pieces, a piece of garlic bread, a few fries, a spoon of white rice, and one tiny square of chocolate cake. I understand that it's buffet but the original price for my son's food should have been adjusted rather than double charged. This place is the biggest rip off ever. At any other place I could have fed me and my kids for half that with much better food and service. I will never...
Read moreIt does not abide with the Ada act laws. Many violations towards me and my very well behaved small service dog. Insulted me verbally, along allowing another customer ( with manager standing next to her at my table) to rant and rage at me and insult me and accuse me of not needing needing a service dog cause she said I didn’t have a disability and several times yelled to the other patrons that I didn’t need a service dog. I was in the front corner of restaurant ( seated illegally according to Ada law! I was so frustrated and embarrassed. When this said customer threatened to call authorities, I said go ahead cause I’m not doing anything wrong. Authorities never came, cause I was in the right and said customer got even more mad. This all done very loudly so entire restaurant could here. Management right next to her. My very clean dog was calm and quiet under the table. The customer said it was unsanitary to have him there. So now I go to the on 309, because I will not go back there and get mistreated again. And yes I’m reporting this restaurant for what they did. They also told me I wasn’t allowed in future to use food bar and had to order off the menu. I said no that’s illegal to make me do that. People that support me and the Ada law have said they ll never go there again for...
