Update!!! : owner Quakertown Family Restaurant...please read! original review : “Disappointing ham and cheese sandwich, lousy cheap ham no better than out of packages , bread dry.. you expect a quality deli type “created” sandwich when eating out and paying $7 . This was 2 slices of dried out bread with thick cheap slices of store bought like Oscar Meyer type ham NOT deli sliced, could hardly bite through the sandwich. Tasteless and disappointing. 👎” Update!!! : all I had intended to speak on was the quality of the sandwich HOWEVER, after posting this and then getting up to pay things got worse... I was asked by the woman behind the counter ( I believe her to be not only the hostess but the owner maybe)”how was everything?” So I told her the sandwich was a bit disappointing and I tried to explain why I felt that way. I was polite and even apologized for saying anything. But since she asked I told her in hopes of them perhaps improving on it. Her first response was why did you not send it back so we could give you something else? I explained to her that I was in a hurry and that the other person I was eating with wasn’t at the table yet so I took a few bites and from that point on just finished it and said oh well. It’s not like I was trying to get out of paying I was still paying for it just wanted to give her some feedback. She said “well you should’ve sent it back so that we could’ve given you something else” I tried again to explain what I felt was so bad about the sandwich I was not trying to get out of paying or anything like that just giving her some quality feedback her response to me was this: “ A ham and cheese sandwich is not something that I would ever order when I go out “ I cannot believe that she said this ..I was too flustered to respond properly so I’ll do so here my response is : are we to judge what we eat based on what type of food it is when we go to a restaurant?

The point is this, ...Quakertown family restaurant, IT IS ON YOUR MENU! And you charge $7 for it btw. ! If it is on the menu I expect it to get the same level of quality care no matter what type of food it is ! it was insulting of her to imply that what I ordered is somehow a “low thing” to order when you go out... again ... it’s on the menu! Are you saying that you only provide quality food depending on what type of food it is? If it’s a sandwich we are going to say “oh it’s just a sandwich throw it together no one cares “ ?don’t put it on your menu if sandwich is “less than” ...then don’t put it on the menu! (not that I have to explain myself but it was lunchtime and I wanted a quick sandwich that’s all I wanted not hot food not a meal a quick sandwich it was on the menu so I ordered it) She was rude and I believe that she felt insulted when I was as polite as I could be even apologizing ! I am quite sure that other items on their menu are quite delicious that is not my point I am not saying they don’t have good food in general but all food needs to be made the same no matter what it is you cannot tell me I should not have ordered a sandwich... then don’t put a sandwich on your menu I’m very disappointed and due to her personality ...myself ,my family and ,my friends will not bother eating here again because we just don’t know which Foods she considers worthy of putting care to and which ones she says “well this is something someone should not order...

We ordered our drinks at about 6:05, the waitress dropped them and took a bit to get back to us for our order as there were only 2 servers on (wasn't that busy though). We ordered, a Caesar salad, order of wings and seafood combo. The food came out at 7:45!!!!!! I understand places are understaffed, and that may be the case here but you should at least warn the customers if you know you're running long ticket times. I kindly said that to the waitress after she dropped our food and she stared at me in shock, didn't once apologize for the wait and left. She went over to what looked like the owner or manager and must have told him because she was motioning our way, but he never bothered to come out and talk to us. We ate and left and as I was paying the bill, told the other woman that the food was very good but repeated my opinion on the time and again, she said nothing..... I wasn't looking for a free meal or even a discount but to know they were concerned about the customer would have been nice. They do seem to have a "group", maybe locals, that come and sit at the counter and chat so maybe that's their priority. I have never written a negative review about a place before but the lack of professionalism dictated I do it here......and we'll...

My waitress was absolutely horrible,Concidering I had to do her job for her it was still a absolute mess ,My three yr old started too loose his cool after his pancakes took 30 minutes to come out,An when all our food did come out, the pancakes were dry an overcooked an our eggs were completely undercooked ,So being a waitress myself I wrote her a note on the back of my receipt ,An that's when the crazy women decided to chase me out of the restaurant an verbally assult me in front of my children,As we were still in the restaurant at that,Concidering I left her 7 on a 38 dollar tab bc I'm human I know how it is ,I never thought I'd experience someone act in this way ,Infront of children no less ,I will calling management in morning an have the tapes be reviewed an I am expecting an apology but very unsure I will get one ,If that's how the employees act ,How will the owner an operator s ,Well I will post another reveiw in hopes of apologies if there servers outrageous an uncalled for behavior ,It's called a note for a reason ,SO A SCENE IS NOT CAUSED !!!!!!You would think a 50 some yr old women would understand an apprceate that I was so...
