Best Food In Town — Restaurant in Richland Township

Absolutely Horrible, all the way around, Their store front sign ,warn and barley barely legible. Which was my first gut instinct of possible problems. I go in and the place was very dirty. The man who took my order was rude and obnoxious. Him and another gentleman were speaking extremely loudly in their language. While cooking orders. When it was time to pay , my order came to 9dollars and change. I go to hand him my debit card and he screams 10 dollar limit you have cash . I say no sorry. Hes yells I have to buy something else. I said I really dont need anything else he yells but a soda ,I say I dont drink soda, he yells we have water, I say fine I'll take a water. I get home and my food was absolutely horrible, extremely watery, no taste, portion small, and the eggroll that came with it was horrible, it tasted like a supermarket frozen bought one. I also reviewed them on Yelp, to let people beware. All the good ratings i read on this place were many years ago. I am a Chef and have been cooking since the age of 15. There is a reason its called the best food in town and it shows. They deliver every time. My favorite dish to order here is the roast pork with broccoli which isnt usually my go-to when I'm getting american chinese food, but I order it here because it's absolutely fantastic! Typically it isnt really fatty and the flavor is delicious. The fried rice is also fantastic. Whenever we are in the area we typically order from here and take it home, we live 20 minutes away, every time we take it home it is still hot and fresh tasting which is awesome! Not many places can deliver on the freshness once you leave the place and arrive at home. Best food in town always does. There are a few reasons for my bad review: When I went to pick up the food, the restaurant was as cold as the inside of a freezer, which in turn caused my food to be cold when I brought it home - even though I picked it up right as it was ready. I had to reheat everything. The guys making the food were not wearing masks! They were not over their mouth or nose. The food itself was just not good. The wontons in the soup were so thick and chewy I couldnt break them with a spoon like normal wonton soup I'm use to.

The only positive thing about my experience here was the guy who took my order over the phone and who I picked the food up with. He was very nice. I will stick to Eastern Dragon, even if the wait is long, at least...
