VFW Post 3500 — Local services in Richmond Heights

We have driven by too many times since we moved to the area.

Tonight, after arguing about what to cook for dinner in the highway traffic, we decided to stop here and give it a try.

Pitmaster Dave was so kind and awesome. He really knows his stuff. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. The potatoes, veggies, salad, and bread were delicious too.

The tall gentleman that took our order and the bartender that got us a drink while we waited were very nice too.

Thanks for welcoming us and showing us the ropes. The food was absolutely perfect especially considering we got it Togo.

Great vfw bartenders are always friendly. They have adapted to the covid and will do temp checks of patrons. Good job vfw 3500.

Now the bar is a bar not a VFW good luck meeting or running into a vet at the bar on normal nights. The area they made for smokers was top notch when they did it now it is run down ignored and well like all vets not cared about. This is a post that has lost the heart of what the VFW is and it is sad. 5 years does make a difference in what happens...

First time here for Fish Fry Friday and I gotta say, the food was awesome! The Cod was crunchy on the outside and flakey tender inside, the slaw was super flavorful and creamy with a nice crunch and the green beans were seasoned just right. My wife and mom in law loved the Mac & cheese (I don't eat pasta) and mom really, really LOVED the catfish citing how tender they were cooked and how much she liked the cornmeal breading to give it a nice texture.
