This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. 1st off I came in & there was only 1 car being service this mourning. So I was next up, the 2nd car. I was told it would take about 45mins to 1 hour. Which was fine,I could browse the store. I went back to check a hour later at about 9:45 & was told my car wasn't ready. I didn't understand why not, because my car was not in the servicing area. There were about 3 cars on the lifts being worked on. So I waited about 15mins,then asked another associate. He said it was ready. In fact it had been ready my paper work & keys were just laying on a unoccupied counter. Not were all the other customers key were hanging on the wall. So I just left, went to 2 other stores. Then I noticed my oil light was still on & my car was smoking. So now I'm confused & on my way back. I pulled up & a worker said to me "I ain't do it,whatever is wrong!" I said "I hope not". I asked for the manager & he came out asked for my keys, got in & reset my oil reader. I told him my car is smoking. He said they would redo my oil change. The filter was not properly on. I asked for a manager, above him. Greg, walked right to us,the manager started to explain the problem,I interrupted him & started to explain what he was leaving out. Greg cut me off by saying "we're going to redo it,we can't do anything with you yelling at us"! I did no yelling. He tried to humiliate me in front of customers & his workers. I asked him what can be done for the inconvenience? He said "so what do you want? Something for free"? I just looked at him with confusion. Like how are you people upset because you did the oil change incorrect? I should be upset but,I was more embarrassed then anything. He said he would give me a gift card & he did,but it did not make up for the trouble. I'm never stepping foot in this walmart again. Don't waste your time or money at Maplewood auto care....
Read moreI hate to give them one star but that’s the only way you can give a review. I went for a simple oil change. Long story short I waited 20 minutes, asked questions twice to the young lady at the cash register. Their were 5 so call employees that stood around, never acknowledge me. I went back inside and asked to see the manager. I told the manager how long I was there and his response was, “ sorry ma’am we stop taking cars for today”. What! I arrived at 4:08pm sign says they close at 7:00pm. I went back out to get in the car and I question the employees and ask them could they not have said something to me... they completely ignored me like I was never there. The manager with his tired dreads comes out and say “ leave my store you shouldn’t be yelling at my employees. I never yelled at his employees. The manager was completely rude and when I returned the favor towards him and was rude like he was he looked at me like I had done something wrong. How that location is still in business far as the auto part goes is amazing to me! The manager lied about they were not taking anymore cars. And if they weren’t taken any more cars he should have informed the young lady who told me the greeter should be right back, so at least the lie that was told everyone could be on one accord. DO NOT GO TO this Maplewood location... unless you want bad service & to be ignored. I have never been so humiliated, angry, and treated like I was worthless in my life!!!! I realize employees are only the example of their managers. This is just the beginning I’m not finished. Corporate will...
Read moreOrdered 4 tires from Walmart.com. Right after Walmart installed them, a thumping noise began. I notified Walmart and brought them back. Service tech said the wheels were out of balance so he rebalanced them. The noise continued. When I brought it back, one tech told me that's just what new tires do. After that nonsense I was told they could not do diagnostic work and instructed me to take the vehicle to a different tire shop to have tires inspected. Service tech promised I would be reimbursed for my expenses. I did so. The other shop determined one of the tires was out of round. I ordered a replacement from Walmart.com and had Walmart install. I was reimbursed for the new tire, but told I would have to contact the manufacturer to get reimbursed for the $137 I had to spend for the other shop to diagnose the problem. I called the manufacturer, who said I had to take it up with Walmart. I called Walmart to schedule a time to talk to the auto center manager. I arrived on time during my lunch break. The one person they had working the counter tried to page the manager. I waited 30 minute, then had to leave to get back to work. I am currently waiting a call back from Walmart corporate. This auto center is understaffed and unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and spend a few extra dollars elsewhere to avoid...
