OMG Soccer — Local services in Maplewood

I'm glad that a lot of people seem to have a really good experience doing business here. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for myself. I purchased a Nike Tiempo Legend 9 and there are different tiers to this Tiempo line up. There is elite ($200+), pro ($110 to $130), academy ($70+), and club ($40 to $50). They all look very similar of course, with the difference being the material and construction. I ended up paying a little over $110 for the shoes, and the lady said that she applied a discount even though the item was not supposed to be a discounted item. Hearing that, say the original price was around $120 or $130, I was assuming that the Tiempo I got were the Legend 9 pro. I did not get the box for the shoes, or anything else for that matter. Just the shoes, in a plastic bag. To my dismay, it actually was the lowest tier of the Legend 9. I ended up paying over $110 for Legend 9 club, a $40 to $50 pair of shoes. I really wish I could return these shoes but unfortunately I lost...

I cannot say enough good things about OMG and Coach Yama! Our daughter has taken about a dozen private lessons with him and her skills have exponentially improved. Coach Yama is so patient and really makes sure the players have correct form and technique. It’s more than a typical soccer practice - he covers strength, speed, agility, precision and performance. Our daughter wasn’t able to play competitively for several months due to medical reasons so we originally planned on taking lessons as an outlet for her love of the game but we’ve continued with the lessons even now that she’s able to play competitively again because we’ve seen so much improvement and...

We were looking for indoor shoes for my kids and couldn't find any at the big box stores. We eventually found OMG Soccer and they had a few options for soccer shoes. We've been buying our indoor/outdoor shoes from them since.

We also started lessons with them about 4 weeks ago with both kids. They are very good at focusing on all the little technical details when dribbling, passing and shooting and I've seen a significant improvement in these 3 aspects with both kids.

I'd recommend them for both lessons and buying shoes. Good friendly service and knowledgeable coaches. Not to mention supporting a local business instead of a chain box store is...
