
Tried talking to a manager about issues I was having. Woman on the phone answered so i asked "who is this? is this a manager?" and she replies "I do NOT have to disclose that information with you." So I say Ok and continue to my story of why I was having troubles with the gym. She then goes on to keep interrupting me and just being hostile OVERALL. So I finally am fed up the the tone to which I was being spoken to and say, "Why are you talking to me like that?" and she replies with saying "how I'm talking to you like how you were talking to me and with the emails you sent." (btw I sent emails complaining about the awful service I have received, such as never being able to get in touch with an actual manager/owner). But just to be clear, I was being very nice and civilized and even put smiley faces in the email lol. So i reply back with, "I was being kind talking to you this whole time..." she then goes on to be extremely hostile and even mentions in accordance to the issue I was having, "You're just young and dumb and have to take it with a grain of salt." Like c'mon if there is an elderly man with slow cognitive abilities on the phone, would ya tell them they're just an old man saying they don't know what they're talking about. From the get-go I could sense that they either don't want to get in trouble with the owner or SOMETHING because I couldn't speak to anyone important about my issue. All the workers said they had no power over my problem and I was running back n forth with the 3rd party payment company and 24seven. To sum up my problem, I was trying to dispute/complain about my membership from the lack of communication and unprofessionalism. Another part of what I was telling the lady was, "just so you know the reviews correlate to what is happening to me right now with my membership" and she was saying, "Don't believe everything you see online". I'm like honey I'm not saying my judgements are based off the reviews but that obviously there's an issue if we ALL collectively have the same experience. Do not get a membership here...I never thought a company would allow a worker to speak to me the way they did! not to mention, the place looks like a dump and the machines are broken...
Ā Ā Ā Read more**Update (8/25/2021)āāāā - I am updating again. I changed from 3 stars to 4 stars all bc of Tylor. She is excellent. All the equipment works but some of the cardio stuff upstairs needs replacing.
**Update (4/26/2020) āāā - Gym is open again just to let everyone know. I worked out tonight. š
This gym use to be pretty decent but things have deteriorated over the years. Customer service is virtually non existent if you have a problem and try to call them during staff hours. I have been seriously thinking about switching my membership to anytime fitness in Richmond Hill. I do like the fact that the 24/7 fitness is open 24/7/365 and it is very close to where I live, thus really convenient. They really need to spend a little money and update (modernize) the equipment. The gym is plenty spacious enough but the weight training equipment on the 1st floor really needs to be updated. I do most of my cardio at home so I do not care about the cardio stuff upstairs. They use to have three TV's, now only two upstairs. I wish they would replace the third TV. I really think if the owner or the 24/7 Corporate office does not spend a little money to make this a nicer and cleaner facility like it once was, they are going to be losing more and more customers to other gyms in the area. I am going to stay for now, but will consider leaving if things get worse...

It takes a lot for me to write a negative review so know that before I tell you that this corrupt company does not deserve your business. Let's start with the quality of the gym first and foremost all of the equipment is old and worn down. At any given time there are at least 10 machines that are broken. This gym charges a yearly equipment maintenance fee that they hide in their contracts and the fee just goes into the pocket of the cheap owner. Stuff stays broken at this gym for months. The gym is completely filthy and seems to be cleaned up more by actual members than any of the complacent staff. Lastly I had to move to due military reasons. I cancelled my contract with this gym but they are still trying to charge me an extra month worth of services. The customer service reps that I had to encounter were all extremely rude and refused to help me. This company clearly took advantage of myself and it looks like it's standard practice for dealing with service members.
I strongly caution against giving this terrible company...
