I’m shopping at Publix now and driving all the way to Hinesville’s Kroger for prescriptions because I’m tired of feeling like I’m a burden to the ppl who work here. I’ve been shopping here since 2008. Heck I’d drive past Publix just to shop here bc I’ve always liked Kroger. Not anymore. Even my “go to” pharmacist, drank the “I hate my job” koolaid. I cried for two weeks over the way he castigated me in front of other customers and to this day, nothing he said made sense. Til this day I have no idea what set him off. He said “I can’t do this anymore” .. confused I asked “ Do what anymore?? Are you sure you’re looking at my info?” In his rant, he didn’t even realize he was shouting my personal information from across the way. I used to really like this particular pharmacist.. Between my diagnoses and my daughters, (Crohn’s disease),, I’ve always asked questions but I’m not walking on pins and needles. I don’t need the extra stress. I never cry. He hit me on a low day and I started to cry, to my horror he became more enraged. I can’t believe I’m saying this but Bill, at Kroger’s Pharmacy in Richmond Hill, i hope you find the peace and joy that you used to exhibit. And maybe some anger management therapy. The only apology I ever heard was when the scared pharmacy tech lip synced “I’m so sorry” as she saw my tears. Kroger in Richmond Hill just has not been the same since they shut...

Horrible. They had a Pringles deal where you are required to buy 5 items in order to save $5.00. With No Limit So I load up my cart with 40 cans, and I am approached at the checkout line by a so called supervisor who states that their manager says that I can only get 10. I mention that there is no sign saying there is a limit anywhere. I left everything including Aboit $50 of other items I had In my cart and went to their sister store in Savannah and bought the 40 cans of Pringles. *Next time, I will just go to Publix. They are very unprofessional. Never again. Lastly, Have used Kroger gas stations all over the SouthEast and this Richmond Hill locations have their receipts out of paper or broke down more than anywhere else. I am not sure if they are trying to save tree’s or what, but this has been a big inconvenience on multiple visits. This should be the next Lucky’s market faith. Too bad they don’t know how to serve up some better Southern Hospitality! Stay Away from there...

Gave this place 1 star, if you’re reading this and you enjoy bagging up your OWN groceries then this Kroger is the place for you ;). I’ve came to this Kroger 4 times and these past 3 times I’ve came, I had to bag up my groceries. The employees would see your cart (especially if you have a decent amount of groceries) and go help another cashier who barely has any items. So now I have to bag up my own groceries that i spend over $300 on everytime i come. This 4th time was my last straw unfortunately. I came there with the intentions of having a pretty good encounter but it wasn’t, the cashier was letting all my groceries stack up smushing my bread and throwing my groceries. This is when i didnt help them bag up the groceries. Luckily another employee came and bagged up the groceries. My experience was horrible here and I do not get paid to bag up groceries so that’s not my place to do so. Maybe this store should have more people in the baggers and cashiers instead of hiding...

This location desperately needs more shopping carts and/or another team member to round up carts in the parking lot. There are usually few carts inside anyways, but when I came here around noon the other week, there was not a single cart inside; I had to go out to the parking lot to grab a cart, which is frustrating at baseline but especially as I was carrying my baby in car seat and had my toddler holding my hand. Also worth mentioning that while checking out the one visit, a $0.60 Kroger yogurt fell out of my cart and the container broke. I told the cashier, who said “I’m going to have to charge you for that.” I have never seen or heard of anyone being charged for an accident like this at any other retailer. ETA: I haven’t shopped at Kroger recently, but stopped in today for some items that Publix doesn’t carry. 3 day old gray expired beef on the shelves 🤢

Come here if you love rotted and mold infested produce! Every single time I've come to this location (at least once per week if not more) there is moldy and rotted produce. Just a week ago, I went for a dragon fruit and not one, but ALL of them were so moldy that they had gaping holes of goo all over the fruit. The onions aren't any better, and don't even try to get a tomato here that isn't complete mush on the inside. This onion looked near perfect on the outside. When I cut it open, I was hit with the sour stench of rot. I had purchased 3 onions, and each one was rotted inside. If you choose to shop here, best of luck.

I love this place. We can always find fresh organic fruits and vegetables, fresh seafood. The flowers section is great and you can also find beautiful cards. The variety of food is very good, even for an immigrant, since you can find some international items. But every time I come here I feel sad because of the amount of trash in the parking lot. We are in the rain season and part of this trash will probably end up in the ocean. They could keep this area clean and put some trash can on the parking lot to avoid people from littering. They should keep this area clean and put some trash can to avoid people from littering.
