Disheartening Decline
As a local resident who has frequented Farm Fresh for a while, I have always enjoyed shopping here. However, over the past three to four months, my experience has taken a disappointing turn.
Recently, I, along with three other customers, waited in line at the deli from 10:45 until 11:06, eagerly anticipating the opening. Despite our patience, we were completely ignored, even after the deli officially opened. I had to ask twice for assistance, only to be met with rudeness and dismissiveness from the manager. This lack of respect for customers is simply unacceptable.
Adding to my dismay was the appearance and demeanor of the manager on duty during my last visit. Dressed unprofessionally and displaying poor customer service skills and certain has a lack of experience, it was disheartening to witness someone in a leadership role treating customers with such disregard. His eye-rolling and whispering while I voiced my concerns were completely unacceptable. It's mind-blowing to see someone forget that they represent a business that serves the public.
Unfortunately, the decline in store appearance and overall service has left me wanting to reconsider my loyalty. It’s a shame to see such a fantastic business struggle with customer relations because, at the end of the day, shopping is about more than just products and prices; it’s about the experience. Read moreI just left Farm Fresh 10 mins ago and I am very upset!! I shop at Farm Fresh a lot since I live downtown! I was in self check out with my 7 month old baby!! I had my groceries in one hand and her car seat in the other!! The “manager” on duty, I didn’t get his name but he has a disability. Yells out in front of the other customers, ma’am why is a can coming from under there!! I looked at him and said from where? He is referring to my covered 7 month old baby as she is kicking the cover! He proceeds to grab my baby’s foot, grabbing her foot and I say that’s my baby, I don’t steal!! I have NEVER in my entire life been so embarrassed!! You don’t grab someone’s baby that’s covered! She’s covered for a reason!! I will NEVER shop here again and I will tell my friends and family never to shop here again! I am a new mom and this was just a horrible experience for me!
I asked to speak to the manager on duty and he said it was him! I walked up to him after I finished paying and said I am trying to extend grace to people! If you don’t know a person is stealing for sure you should not approach them and you damn sure shouldn’t touch people children! He was very dismissive as if he didn’t want to hear what I had to say! Read moreI placed an order on 6/21/2017 at 0750 for a food order, we were feeding 200 people. We were coming to Richmond from Norfolk so the CSR Arnedra told us that it was fine, we can pay when we got there since they couldn't take the card over the phone and the order would be ready Sunday by 1400. We arrive that Sunday the 25th at 1350 and our order wasn't placed, in fact , no one knew anything about our order. The young lady whom I placed the order with said "When did you order? "I don't remember that" and walked away on her phone. At this point I'm livid! I ask to speak to the Manager, so Chris comes over, I tell him the issue and he starts reciting policy stating that they cannot fix an order without payment. I let him know what we were told. Name, date and time and he kept telling me their policy instead of training his employee's that policy so that they can give out correct information. Thomas (a regular CSR) jumped into manager mode, got our order placed and made within an hour without any direction. THOMAS is the type of manager that every store needs. Hear the problem, identify an alternative and fix it! He was awesome! He turned a terrible situation completely around. If he ever decides to move to Norfolk I would hire him...
