Last entry: As promised. I ended up reading the other reviews and got the phone number of Raymond. He seemed pretty upset that I wasn't kept informed. He promised to look in to the whole ordeal and call me back the next day before noon. He also said that the part that had to be reordered would be shipped to me for free. Well the next day came and went. I received a text saying my part was in and ready for me to pick up. So I gave it 24 hours and called Mr. Raymond back. The part didn't automatically get shipped but he made it happen. Big point here* PLEASE change your verbiage. If you are not planning on calling the person back, that's someone else is going to call me back -say that. Never once did someone say a parts person is going to call you and confirm all the information. They all said I. I will call you back. No! That is a lie. Glad to have everything in hand as the part arrived the next day to me via UPS.
Second entry: I had some items not present when we ordered the motorcycle. I was told that they would be shipped to us when they came in. Implied that shipping would also be free. Approximate date told was 2 weeks. I called after 2 weeks. Got transferred all over the store. I spoke with the parts people who didn't have a clue. They sent me to Joey. Joey said they weren't there yet. He had been checking everyday. He would call me when they arrived. I felt like I had inconvenienced him so I waited as patiently as I could for 4 more weeks. Finally I had enough and called again. That's when I was informed that they had come in. Joey then said a parts person was supposed to call me and they never did. He said he would locate the items and call me back by the next day. He did not. A parts person did. I was then charged for the shipping of the said parts and was told they were on their way after I paid for said shipping, confirming all 3 pieces were there. An hour goes by and I receive a text saying that all the parts weren't present and they had to reorder one. I was annoyed after I spoke with Joey because I felt that I was lied to and felt like I was being a bother. I am usually not a complainer. I didn't even say a word when the bike we ordered was the wrong color. We ordered stealth grey and got silver quartzite. After seeing the color we weren't disappointed at all. Happy mistake. However, I called back and asked for his boss. I left a voicemail and never got a call back at all. I feel once these people make the sale you are no longer important! They will lie straight faced promising you the moon, withhold information, just to get the sale. The shipping of the 2 pieces was really fast. I got them next day. Now we wait for a crucial piece of the backrest to arrive so we can put a backrest on the bike. I will update once again when that gets resolved.
Original: They were patient and helped explain everything in layman's terms. They didn't rush through. Awesome job!!! We will go back for sure. My husband loves his new ride!!! Joey Huff did a great job and Kevin Harkness did awesome!!!!...
Read moreI normally do not write reviews unless my experience was stellar or horrific. In this case it was horrific. Due to Covid having an impact on the supply chain, ATV’s not in stock require you to give them a $500 non refundable deposit. With that being said, I made sure to ask as many important questions to my salesman as I could think of. Two primary questions I had were that of the common interests rates he was seeing with credit scores like mine and I asked about how long one can finance for. These were two very important questions to help me get an idea about how this future purchase would fit my budget, especially since the deposit would be forfeit. He said and I quote “I’ve seen many people come out of there(gesturing towards the finance office) with 0% interest with scores worse than yours). I then spoke to the possibility of something like 1.99% worse case scenario to which he seemed to be in agreement. Then I mentioned that a friend of mine bought one somewhere else and had an 84 month option and asked if that was possible with them. Without remembering the exact words, he definitely mentioned that as an option if I need the lower payments and I mentioned the payment range I was trying to stay under. In the end, all sounded really promising and a safe bet for me financially and I felt comfortable signing the agreement for the non refundable $500.00 deposit. This was back in April of 2021. Fast forward to December and the atv I ordered finally arrived. I told my son about it and we were both excited to finally have it. I went to GotGear and when the finance manager came out with all the numbers, he mentioned an interest rate and payment that was far over what I was lead to believe. Given my credit score had changed since April, my credit was still good. I mentioned to the finance manager that I left there in April under the impression that 0% was at least possible. He then told me and I again I quote (even with an A rating, it doesn’t get below 7%). At that moment I knew the salesman had lied and told me everything I wanted to hear in order to get me to commit to that deposit. That day marked the last day I will ever set foot back on that property and I will always tell this story to everyone that mentions buying any type of equipment that they sale and help steer them to a dealer that actually has...
Read moreLies… Lies… Lies… Went in a year ago and bought a brand new 2023 Polaris Rzr 1000xp on the fact that the 2023 Honda Talon we were really wanting to purchase was “still on the back being assembled”… Walked around and looked at a few of the bikes and the salesman we had been talking to was very nice, informative, and speedy… So we purchased the rzr and we are happy with the bike.. Fast forward to this past weekend.. Stopped by on a Thursday and walked around when a blue Honda Talon 1000x caught our eye.. Talked to the same salesman (Dillon Evans) and asked about trading the rzr in for the talon.. He assured us that he would be able to do the trade and get us payoff on the rzr “because we were preferred customers”… A week and a half later and a $200 hold deposit for the talon, we arrive back at Got Gear and get the rzr inspected (which they said the bike was in perfect condition)… We purchased the rzr last July and financed almost $32k for the bike (we added some extras in purchase).. Went back to trade it in and the salesman was already informed of the payoff amount which he assured us he would make it happen so we could get in the talon… Well the $27k payoff required turned into them offering us $19k and wanted $8k and our bike to get into a cheap bike of $23k (make that make sense)… Then was told by the salesman “I have $5k profit in the talon and I can’t even use all that to make up the $8k difference in the value of your bike to which our bike is in “perfect condition and well maintained” (their words)…. We left disappointed and lied to for the last time… Our business will go somewhere else from now on even if I have to go to California to get a sxs…. When asked for the breakdown of what made the talon (less valuable bike worth more than our rzr) the breakdown sheet he produced showed zero profit so either the breakdown sheet was a lie as well or his words of “having $5 profit” were lies…. We were told “Our bike lost $13k value in 1yrs time”… Had we done the trade and let them have our bike for $19k they would have posted it for sale for $30k the next day but couldn’t give us the payoff cause that “don’t keep the lights on and...
