If you love authentic Mexican,this place is a must! Nothing like it in this area! They just recently opened and Is run by a sweet family. La Morena is a great family-owned spot in Ridgeland. I had the Carne Asada tacos with cilantro and onions, and they were fresh and flavorful. The horchata was really refreshing, and I finished with the strawberry tres leches cake which was a nice sweet ending.

They also brought out a basket of crunchy chicharrón-style snacks to start. Good food, friendly atmosphere, and definitely worth a visit.
