Garfield County Fairgrounds & Events Center — Local services in Rifle

I attended an event July 9th and the event was great, staff was great including Citadel Security. The only two complaints I have is that once your inside the indoor arena you are not allowed to go outside unless you pay again for a ticket. The second complaint is that we had to rent the chairs for $25.00 each, when we seen people on lawn chairs we asked about it and the event coordinator simple said because he can charge and that those people had the chairs when they came in the door. We asked if my family can bring the lawn chairs as they were still waiting outside for other friends he said no,you have to Pay for my chairs here. Friendly atmosphere, we had a table for the Hometown Holiday for God's Beloved Non-Profit. We painted rocks and ornaments with the children, also juice and cookies. We are helping the homeless in the Valley by providing meals , warm clothes , handing out back packs of supplies.
