Hello Boba Truck — Local services in River Forest

We are SO glad we chose Hello Boba as our bubble tea bar vendor for our wedding!!! My husband & I wanted to skip the traditional alcoholic open bar and go with something more us, a bubble tea bar, and Hello Boba was the perfect fit.

From the start, Jackie was amazing to work with! She was super responsive, asked great questions to understand our theme, and made sure the flavors & toppings they would provide on the day of reflected our favorites. What really stood out was how much experience they had with weddings; they took care of everything, from setup & service to the cutest decor that truly matched our wedding vibe.

On the big day, they arrived early, set up quickly, and the bar looked beautiful!!! Even better than I imagined. Our guests were OBSESSED. After the ceremony, everyone swarmed the boba bar and took photos.. Instead of champagne toasts, we all cheered with our boba drinks!

Unreliable and Unprofessional

They never showed up to our event. The plan was for them to show up an hour before our festival starts. 5 minutes before the event starts, we called for confirmation , the lady said the truck on its way a running late, then she called back saying the truck is having car issues so she will send out another truck. An hour later. Sorry we couldn’t send out any truck because it’s not prepared for your event and we have to take care of the broken down truck on the highway. If what she said is true, we would expect a courtesy advance notice that they won’t come. Not wait for our phone call to inform us with the issues. They are the one reached out to us to vendor in our event. But I think because it was raining they did not want to come. These conversations are documented through email and voice mail. This was our first time interacting with Hello Boba and we will not be recommending them to any one.

What an exquisite experience! I recently tried the jasmine tea with tapioca pearls at this food truck and I was utterly impressed. From the first sip, I was captivated by the floral fragrance of the jasmine tea, which was perfectly balanced, neither too mild nor overpowering. The temperature of the tea was just right, enhancing its flavor.

The tapioca pearls, which are the soul of any good boba drink, were exceptional. They had a smooth, chewy texture that wonderfully contrasted with the smoothness of the tea. Furthermore, they were perfectly cooked, not too hard nor too soft.

The portion size was generous and the price was very reasonable for the quality offered. The service was swift and friendly, contributing to an overall very positive experience.
