Rude bartender! No hello, no introduction (her name was Alicia and I only know that because my friend is a regular), no smile, just a what can I get for you? And out of the 3 other ppl I was with, she kept looking at me so since I felt pressured to answer, I thought I'd take the humorous route to lighten her mood and rubbed my big pregnant belly in a huge circular motion and said nothing for me. And she just kept staring at us waiting and asked again in 5 seconds and looked at me again so I did the same even more exaggerating no drinks for me. And she just snapped "well you can't just come here and hang out!" So my husband responded "my wife is pregnant" and shes like oh I didn't know you should've told me and that played out for a few mins with her explaining how she didn't know what I meant by that and my husband and our friend reluctantly ordered a drink although at that point we were all ready to leave although we had just got there. She didn't let us get seated and settled good before attacking us and making us order. And just so you know the place wasn't packed so it's not like people were crowding around the bar for a seat. We got a row of 4 seats easily and there were plenty more available so I'm not sure what her problem was when everyone else around seemed to be just "hanging out" she later tried to be nice and offered me water or juice and I declined, already prepared to write my bad review since our first 10 mins there was a disaster and left us pissed, don't try to...

I used to frequent this place often. But over the years this place have been on the decline while other places around it has adapted and changed for the best. The beer selection is awful, the drinks are overpriced for this kind of environment and God forbid if you have to use the bathroom. The bathrooms is so horrible, I have seen better in a third world country truckstop! Whoever owns this place is literally just collecting money and not reinvesting! Its one of the worst dive bars in Forest Park now. Its dirty, dated, no food, no nothing! Unless it changes for the best, I will not be back and I tell my people to stop patronizing a place where you are not appreciated. Lastly Stop coming to this place! Its not worth it. If I can give it a negative 5 stars I would. Absolutely...

Pioneer Tap has become my go to bar in forest park . The place has a lot of dive appeal, the bartenders will remember you, most of the patrons are regulars (and they are generally pretty cool... haven't seen one fight break out), they have darts/pool/golden tee and etc..., okay beer selection, and an area dedicated to live music.

Don't go in anticipating that this a hot spot, but this place is definitely a decent time to sit on a barstool and do some...
