Very good quality (relative to what's legal in Ohio-, I've seen product here of up to 30% THC); decent price. Sometimes you can get a great deal, other days a fair deal. I've paid anywhere from $7 per gram (for whole flower) up to $15 per gram. Keep in mind, this facility is just a reseller of an already packaged, manufactured, branded, third party product.
The smallest amount of Sativa (Whole Flower/Bud) I've seen for sale at one time is 2.83 grams. So obviously don't come here with $5 in your pocket looking for a pre-rolled joint lol.
Bring your ID. There is a short wait/check in period in which you must line up before being allowed into the sale floor.. Make sure you are 21 or older.
They scan your ID, so fake ones won't fly, McLovin'.
Staff are super friendly, down to earth, and probably partake. That being said, I would recommend remaining polite and professional while on the premises. Don't come in here with your Unc acting all sketchy and shit.
Apparently, you can order online and have your package all ready to go and paid for when you get there. They also incorporate this into a rewards program. Although, it must be said: I haven't tried ordering online, nor have I signed up for the reward program yet, so I cannot comment on the quality of these programs.
This leads me into the one major con of this place, and for those on a tight budget, it might be a deal breaker. So, here's the thing- paying with a card inside of the store can be quite expensive. When using either a debit or credit card, you must round up to the nearest dollar of your sub-total. Then comes the double whammy: they charge both an "atm withdrawal fee" AND a separate transaction fee. The transaction fee I kind of understand, the ATM Withdrawal Fee I do not. I'm not withdrawing any cash from an ATM? ON TOP OF THAT, THE STATE also takes a sales tax of about 7.43 percent.
Look: I would definitely recommend this location over any other LEGITIMATE dispensary in the Xenia/Yellow Springs/Fairborn/Beavercreek area. This place is as legitimate as they come, as long as you aren't paying with a debit/credit card inside of the store. It kind of sketches me out. Otherwise, this would be an...
Read moreThis place just isn't very good. Once thc became legal in Ohio the dispensaries were jam packed. Hour long waits everywhere...except here. No line at all....ever. So naturally due to the lack of line I go here first to get something simple and then I never think about it again until later on when I went to better dispensaries (which do have lines) I realized quickly why this one is always empty... it's because this dispensary sells trash. We are talking super weak stuff here guys. I'm serious...there's nothing here that is over 100 mg (divided between like 10-20 pieces) and if it is higher it's unbelievably expensive. Two times in a row I bought product (gummies first then white chocolate the next day) which did absolutely nothing to me and I paid $20 each time. The chocolate had cayenne spicy sugar on it which destroyed my Irritable Bowel Syndrome and I wasn't told this. Not till 3 bites in my mouth is suddenly on fire. 20 bucks is way too much for a little over 100 mg of THC. this place has a really poor selection and it refuses to get anything that even remotely has a kick to it. I've drunk versions of Mountain Dew which are stronger than some of the THC products at this place. these prices are high...you can buy a whole farm in Michigan for the price of gummies that are 25 mg Also not thrilled about the format that all these dispensaries around here must use all the time where you got to get called in and then you stand there while all these people stare at you while you pick something from a computer monitor...it sucks. And these "budtenders", however nice they may be, really don't know much about the products and every time you ask them anything they don't know and pass the buck. Go...
Read moreI've slowly become a regular at this dispensary, for good reason. I've yet to have even an unpleasant experience while here. I can still remember when the building was a Ponderosa, so it has that nostalgic aspect for me, personally. Even if that wasn't the case, this is still an amazing dispensary. Upon entering you're greeted by a security guard and one of the many budtenders who may be working the front desk, no matter the two it's always a very warm and welcoming vibe upon first entering. In the lobby they have TV's that show you what deals they're having that you can checkout while they're checking you in. Once you're good you can head to the back. Now, I'm terrible at names and I'd like to shout out a few budtenders but I can't. Nonetheless every single budtender I've interacted with here has been phenomenal. I've gone here not knowing what I wanted and was given exceptional suggestions. Even if I've already pre-ordered and am just picking up, always great friendly conversation. They have some of the best deals I've seen around, and they have them daily! I've been here at different times of the day, they're usually not too busy either. Even if they happen to be a bit busy, they get everybody through pretty quick, unlike other dispensaries where you maybe in line for 20-30 minutes. I just want to say in my opinion, this is the best dispensary in the Dayton area. I will continue to go back. If you're an AYR employee reading this, know that I, the customers, appreciate...
