Yumi Boba Tea - Riverside — Restaurant in Riverside

I've been able to visit twice since Yumi Boba has opened. To me this is a very welcome addition to the area and businesses nearby, it's a great place to stop and have a cold drink or a small bite to eat

There are an assortment of cold milk teas and smoothies with many fruity flavors including the typical strawberry and mango, but they also have other flavors such as avocado or matcha flavored smoothies

While they also have hot drinks like tea available, there are less to choose from. Considering that the staple of the menu is boba, the lack of hot drinks doesn't detract from any reason to visit

The boba is delicious! For those who don't know what boba is, it's a large tapioca ball, a little smaller than a grape, typically boiled and soaked with honey or sugar. It's very gelatinous, and adds a sweet chewiness to the cold drink. This particular blend of flavors seems to be boiled with rose water, giving it a floral after taste. It's a little different compared to boba stores I've tried out in California, and it provides an interesting twist to the flavor

This place is pretty good if you are looking for a quick bubble tea grab. I don't really enjoy sticking around though. The place is pretty small, while being crowded most of the time, and they usually have stock all over the place.

The service is good but they do have moments where I feel like they don't really listen to you. I asked for three different types of donuts, I paid and sat down to wait. I was the only person there at this time so when I saw her getting donuts and grabbing the wrong ones I let her know that if this were mine I didn't ask for that one and all she said was "okay". I sat down hoping she would fix it but she called me up very quickly again ,and when I opened it it was still the wrong donut. When I told her they seemed confused and just gave me the other donut.

I recommend ordering online and picking up to go, just check everything like a normal restaurant trip,and you shouldn't...

My family and I went there today this is maybe our 4th visit. We try to give this place a chance but their customer service is awful, with the three people in there I was ignored by them all.. They all also had an earphone in as well. I know it gets busy with online orders but there weren’t any customers inside when we arrived. Their hot cheeto corndog is barely coated, they’re always out of the potato one, why even have it on the menu then? And all the corndogs are pre-made and sit on this rack that doesn’t even keep them warm. Their drinks are either watery or poorly mixed.. And their corndogs are overpriced for them to be so cold. As is their desserts that are small and not very soft. Bad customer service, bad drinks, and cold (supposed to be warm) food. ALSO despite them being not busy at the time, the tables were very dirty.. when all it would take to clean them was a quick wipe. It would’ve made a...
