I have always shaved my own head so I never required the use of a barber shop. Over the past year and a half I started growing my hair out. Every month to month and a half I would try a different barber shop until I found one that I liked. Let me tell you something, I have been to about 10 shops and all I can say is that as long as DeRosa’s Barber Shop is open they will have my business. Everything about the place is top notch. My first time there I walked out feeling great about myself and how I looked. Something I can say I honestly never felt before after leaving some of the other shops in the area. From my first time there I’ve had Kate cut my hair and what can I say, she is an extremely talented barber. I recommend everyone to see Kate. Peter is a very personable owner/barber and great to have a conversation with. I got my dad to go to Peter and my dad says he feels like he did years ago when his favorite barber used to cut his hair before he retired. From the ambience of the shop, the refreshments offered, the old school cash register and barbers chairs on display, this place is the only place in the Robbinsville/Hamilton area that you should go to for a hair cut...

My experience at Derosa’s is what I’ve been looking for in a barbershop for years. Quality of service is a give-in because let’s face it without a quality cut nothing else matters. The reason I’m leaving the review is for the attention to detail and all the little things that Derosa’s has perfected to take the barbershop experience to a level that is unmatched in the industry. From the atmosphere of the decor, to the quality of the equipment, products, and materials used. Derosa’s makes you feel like your in an old school barbershop, but with all the modern amenities. I purchased the King Louie cut, and let me tell you that you truly feel like nothing less than a king. The hot towel treatment and straight edge shave was beyond relaxing. The hair wash with hair tonic scalp massage had my head looking and feeling better that it ever has. If you are looking for luxury, nostalgia, and a level of service that can only be achieved by people that take nothing but great pride in their craft, there is no where else to go...

DeRosa's Barbershop stands out as the best place in town for a quality cut. Before finding these guys, I tried every shop around ... not what I was looking for.

I've been getting my hair cut at DeRosa's since they opened, and it's consistently excellent every visit. The barbers remember exactly how you like your style - no need to explain it every time. You walk in looking ordinary and walk out looking sharp.

The atmosphere hits just right - people talking about the game, some good conversation, but always professional. What I really appreciate is their scheduling - book for 2:30, you're in the chair at 2:30. No wasting your afternoon waiting around.

Everyone there truly takes pride in their work. You can tell they actually care about how you look when you leave. The shop itself is beautiful, but still has that traditional barbershop feel that's so hard to find these days.
