I stopped in hoping to buy a pair of shoes. I already knew the shoes I wanted as I have purchased the same shoe multiple times. You did not have the shoe in stock. In fact you hardly had any shoes of any type in stock. Your shelves were almost bare. You did not even have the shoe I wanted available online. I had a $15 reward to use, so in lieu of the shoes, I was hoping to pick up a short sleeve dress shirt. The only colors you have are white and blue, and I already have two of each. After looking around the store, Inventory and selections were limited. I settled on some dress socks priced around $26 for 3, minus the $15. Not exactly a bargain, but the coupon expired that day so I went with it.
The shoes I was looking for were listed on your website, but not in my size anymore. I was able to find them online at a couple places, in my size, in stock, and cheaper than the price listed on your site even with the reward coupon, so it looks like DXL may not be my go to store for shoes anymore.
It is important, especially for big & tall people, to have a brick and mortar store to be able to try on clothing for a good fit. I have been very happy with the clothing I have purchased from DXL, particularly the Harbor Bay, GS and Oak Hill Lines, and the service has always been good. I don't mind paying a bit more for quality clothing, but when there is no product available, or limited options, or the prices get too high as they have been, I need to reconsider my sources. I had to let another $15 reward expire because could not find anything I needed or wanted, after several hours searching your website.
The store hours have been cut back, making it hard for me to get out and shop.

Read moreMy husband and I stopped in today to buy a suit for him for our daughter's wedding. We couldn't of been treated any better than we were. Libby our sales associate was fabulous, kind, knowledgeable and made sure she found us exactly what we wanted. A while back we stopped into a high end store in our mall to look for a suit needless to say no one even approached us ? Hmmm we felt like we were in the movie "pretty woman" my husband was very upset as he is a big guy and very self conscience.....it took us months to go into a store for him to feel comfortable and with only 6 weeks till the wedding we are pressed for time. Today my husband found an amazing suit (thank you Libby) was treated like a normal human being and most important he felt great about himself when we left. He got so choked up with emotion he asked me to thank everyone there. As we were checking out I watched as Libby helped other customers, remembered their names when they came into pick up orders and as she talked on the phone helping other customers. If I could give this place 100 stars I would! It's not just about the awesome clothes it's the customer...

These folks are focused on sales and not truly customer oriented. I went in to this store and was presented with everything I hate in a big mens fashion... high waisted clown pants fitting at the navel. I specifically told all staff mmembers this andd they persisted in trying to maie this obscenity of a garment fit me failing miserably every time. I had to return three seperate times regardingn fit each time propgressively worse. I retuirned a few days later to return $700 worth of prouct purchassed on my credit card only to hear the shift manager try to tell me that because these items had been altered, he coul not return them. I actually had to argue with him to return garments which did not fit. What's worse is the fact that their corporate customer service and management tams are just as lacking.This is nnow my third atttempt to do business with this company--- and my last. each time I had the same or simillar experience.
