To many looking for a mattress is like going to the dentist. It’s something you really don’t want to do, but you know once the process is over if done right you will feel so much better. Last week my husband and I decided that it was time to consider getting a new mattress. We had several places to stop and look. We had no intention of purchasing one on our first trip out. The first two places we went had similar mattresses, around the same price but when we walked in the stores the sales rep was on us like zoom. We had no time to ourselves. We were pounded with questions that we really didn’t have the answer to and then offered hard core sales pitch “IF you Buy it today” we politely thanked them and went on our way. The next to the last place on our list was Levins Mattress store. We walked in and Jennifer greeted us, advised us she was with a customer and would be with us shortly but if we had any questions feel free to ask. While we looked around several other folks came into the store and with each one Jennifer welcomed them and advised them that she would be with them soon. Being acknowledged when we walked in was welcoming, but not being followed throughout the store and hounded with towns of questions was such a relief. Jennifer finished with the customer she was completing a sale with and walked over to see if there was anything she could help us with. At this time, we did have a few questions. Jennifer was engaging, helpful and treated us like family. We told her we were just looking and had no plans to purchase today. She did not offer any hard-line sales or buy today offers. To get the best information we did ask what the out the door price was and how long that price was good for, We were so pleased at the experience we did purchase that same day. We couldn’t have been happier when we found out the delivery would be just two days later. The delivery was the most informed ever, we were even able to track where the truck was and how many stops before our delivery via a link sent via text message. We have slept on our new mattress for 4 days now, Oh my what a difference. I am loving it. I give the entire process a 10 out of 10. Read moreStan the salesman was great! However, the delivery department is the worst. The first time they came, one of the delivery guys came in my house (without a mask) after I was told that you had to wear a mask for the delivery. After seeing where the mattress would go he said he would be right back to unload the truck. Much to my surprise, the truck left without delivering the mattress. I got a phone call that said they refused to come into the house because they thought I had Covid symptoms. I assured them I did not have Covid but they refused to deliver that day even though I told him that I had to take off work to be there. They said I had to reschedule. I spoke to a manager and he said that he did everything he could but it was not going to be delivered that day. I told him I would give them one more chance. They rescheduled another day and so I took off work again. They called and told me that they were on their way. I then got another call from the office saying that they could not get through to my house because there were lines down on the road and they were just 2000 feet away from my house. There was absolutely no lines down on the road and I told them that. He said the truck already turned around and was on its way back that I would have to reschedule. The worst customer service from a company ever. Nobody called to apologize, nobody called to make things better. I was spending almost $6000 for a Tempur-pedic mattress and they did not even care. Read moreI spoke to Jannifer last night telling her about needing a new mattress & base. Plus I have a spending limit of $1000. She said we could work with that. I explained that I have MS, back pain, & Hurd so I need an adjustable base. She asked me to come in so she could show what would work within our budget. I explained I can’t go because I had no ride. Without missing a beat she spoke up & offered me a ride to & from the store today. She picked me up in her car & brought me to the showroom. During my ride to the store I mentioned that my current mattress was within the time limit for a warranty replacement!!! I looked at what she had available and fell in love with one & a base to go with it. She saved me all kinds of money & got me to $1005!!! Now we turned the request into the company so they can decide if I’ll be able to buy the headboard & rails for the refund on my mattress!! Needless to say she went WAY, WAY, WAY out of her way to help me!!! She also asked me if I needed to go anywhere before she drove me home!!! This is my karmic guru!! She’s a delight & a true genuine person who I hope will now be my friend!! I don’t know how I can begin to express my gratitude to her!!! Levin!!
