Can't agree more with the previous reviewer- Sultan Very unprofessional and unethical!!! I will never go there and will advise others to be cautious if you have no other choice but this store
It was first time going to this store. I was one of the last customers for the day on 11/28/2015. The girls at the cash register (two of them) asked me to quickly put the groceries down on the counter top as they want to close the store. They started ringing the groceries in a disorganized manner, and arguing with each other for not doing it correctly. When I got home, my wife was curious to know how much they charged for some of the standard items. To our surprise, almost every item was a dollar more expensive than what you would get at other indian grocery stores. On top of that they charged me twice for two items (~$10). I called them and left a voice mail but the store was closed. The next day, I called the store and some rude voice greeted me and directed me to the manager. The manager (can't remember the name) was not at all helpful and said that he is seldom in the store but one of the girls who was there last night will call me later in the afternoon. I never heard from them and two days later I called them again but got the same response that someone will call later. Very unprofessional and unethical!!!! I am definitely going to report these guys to appropriate...
Read moreThe last time I had been to this place was towards the end of summer when the mangoes were on sale. On inquiring whether the type of mangoes displayed in small cartons were alfonso, one of the owners/store managers started giving a weird answer instead of a simple 'Yes' or a 'No'. He started explaining that, if he were to tell me that it was alfonso, I would blindly purchase it, but he exclaimed that he was honest and would not do that and so those are not Alfonso mangoes. I did not clearly understand the point of all this when a simple Yes or a No was all that was sufficient. Although I did not take this seriously, what irked me the most was that, while my other friends were completing their checkout, this store manager started telling one of the cashier ladies in hindi to get my friends to purchase those mangoes by convincing them that they are alfonso mangoes. The store manager was definitely unaware of the fact that my friends and I clearly understand Hindi. Fortunately my friends did not purchase the mangoes. Having this negative attitude and making fool of customers is definitely not a healthy business strategy. Ever since, I find it worth travelling a little bit more and going to stores that have a welcoming attitude towards customers and have a better quality of products at a much cheaper rate...
Read moreIt is a great store for indian and Pakistani's. U could shop and eat too they even have free water for customers. I recently visited Sabzi Bazar and was blown away by the quality of their food. The flavors were authentic and delicious, and the service was top-notch. However, the standout dish for me was the pani puri. It was simply amazing! The crispy puri shells were filled with a tangy and spicy mixture of potatoes, chickpeas, and tamarind chutney, and then dipped in a refreshing mint and coriander water. Each bite was bursting with flavor and left me wanting more. I have had pani puri at many other places, but Sabzi Bazar's version is by far the best I have ever had. The rest of the food was also excellent, with a wide variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend Sabzi Bazar to anyone looking for authentic and delicious Indian food, and especially to those who want to try the best pani...
