I reached out to Park Ave Acura via their website and briefly explained my situation. Alfredo called me within a few hours and that is when the phenomenal experience began. I had a unique situation and I wanted to explain everything up front and see if there were any options for me even before I stepped foot into the dealership. Alfredo was very understanding and not pushy at all. He did a fantastic job at listening to all of my concerns and I felt extremely comfortable with him. I ran the credit application online and was able to get an approval before I came in, which was one of my biggest concerns. Alfredo and I were in constant contact whether it was through email, phone call and even text message. Alfredo is an amazing communicator and I never once felt out of the loop as to where we were throughout the process. As soon as everything was good to go on the financing side I came to decide which car I would choose. Again Alfredo was extremely professional, courteous, and attentive, but I NEVER once felt overwhelmed or pushed to make a decision. Alfredo explained all of the options, colors and the pros and cons according to what my personal preferences were. I arrived later on in the evening and he ended up being the last sales person there. Even with this he never once rushed me to just choose any vehicle. Even when I was undecided he stated that if needed I can choose a vehicle and he would take care of everything the next day and deliver the car to my house. Luckily I did choose a vehicle off of their showroom and we finalized everything that evening. Right before I left he came down with a red bow and placed it on the car for me to take pictures with and congratulate me on my new car purchase!!! This experience has been the best car buying experience I've ever had over the last 4 vehicles I've purchased. Coincidentally my very first vehicle purchase was an Acura and this solidifies the excellent brand that Acura has, I will definitely refer my friends and family over to Alfredo and Park Ave Acura whenever they are looking...
Read moreCame in with my family inquiring about a CPO MDX. We've been looking for over a month for a particular mileage and color combination. Sat with salesman Maurizio last Saturday. Luckily enough he told me there were 2 exact MDXs we've been searching for that were just traded. We could not see them however because they were being prepared for sale. Needless to say we were very excited. We live over an hour away so I left him my information explained that we have perfect credit, large down payment, ready to buy right away. I kindly asked him to call me as soon as they are available and we will drive up to purchase. Two days later I followed up with Maurizio, to my surprise he tells me one of the cars is sold? But the other one will be available soon. When I comment ok that's strange you just told me two days ago it wasn't even ready yet, he replied "we sell a lot of cars here". Ok, he reassured me the second one should be available within a few days. I call again the next day, just to touch base-vehicle is not ready yet. Ok, I called every day after to check in with him just to be on top of it. (He never reached out to me once for an update) Finally today, a week a later I called the same salesman. First thing out of his mouth is "That white one was sold". I'll cut this long story off here. The point is this place has disgraceful customer service. Literally mindboggling. We feel ashamed for even giving this place a week of our attention. This particular salesman even had the audacity to give me an attitude when I finally got frustrated and asked how can two cars that I've been calling about every day and "is not available for sale yet" both be sold? His answer was "We don't hold cars here". I never asked him to hold it, I kindly asked him (all week) to let me know soon as it was available. Should clients be camping out in your lot, in a tent maybe? I don't get it. Keep this in mind when you decide to spend your hard earned money at this location or at least with this...
Read moreBeen going to Park Ave Acura for years now, not for convenience (it's a half hr away), not for the cars either (I get Acura's because they are reliable and look nice but I'm not a "car guy" couldn't tell you what kind of horse power I have, never test drive, always skip the little tutorial they give before you drive off). No I went because Paul Epstien worked there. I knew Paul for 45 yrs (I'm 50) and knew him to be, amongst other qualities, a man of integrity which is the most important thing your looking for when making any significant purchase. Since he can't be in trouble with management now I'll share that Paul wasn't much of a car guy either which was fine because it was never really about the car for him either. It was about human beings, relationships, fairness, family, and with that as his guiding principles then lets see if we can get you in a car. When he passed this fall it was a sad end of a personal relationship and at that time I assumed the end of my professional relationship with Park Ave. I called to make arrangements to return my car but spoke to Justin Felix who Paul had introduced me to a few years back.Justin embodied the same values, ease of conversation and honesty that I came to expect with my dealings with Paul. I'm sure if I asked about gear differentials and torque he could have fielded those questions but our conversations were about our families, reminiscing about Paul. He made the process easy, and like with Paul I left in a car I never drove, we skipped the tech tutorial "unless the wheel and pedals do something different I'm good". So sad that Paul is gone but my relationship with Park Ave...
